Bought this 2021 Wilier Zero SLR for about $3000. My previous bike was a LAMA I ripped on through Russian urban in the late 90s.

This beaut came with clipless pedals that I don't wanna learn how to use for now, so I installed some cheap flat pedals that almost weight more than the bike itself.

Anyways, my ass now is sore, my hands are numb, while my smile has rarely been this open. There's all year round riding season where I live now, so trying to ride it almost every day. Gonna try to commute, which is about 15 km one way. Love this machine!

A few tips for fellow motorcycle riders coming into bicycling:

  • your right brake lever is the rear brakes
  • you must not engage the clutch when you shift
  • you don't have pegs to scratch when you turn, but you've got the pedals; don't have one down the circle when you do
