Tonight we are at the Kingp Power Stadium as Leicester City look to flex their muscles against championship new boys Rexom. Lester have not fully clicked yet, but they are right in the fight. Rexom have not played in the city of Leicester since the early 80s when they were both in the second tier. But now here they are looking to make a name for themselves again and write history again here tonight. There’s Cabore striding forward and he gets away from Thomas. Why, that looked like it was destined for the top corner. Lewis O’Brien doesn’t give up on this hoist into the corner. Keeps it alive. Harry Winks comes back in and makes a really good block as he tries to unleash the trigger. They keep it alive though. Sam Smith doesn’t give up and as it comes down to Broadhead. Lovely first touch. Those Rexom fans the way. They would have thought that was nestling in the top corner. A blow for Leicester who held the lead in this contest. [Applause] Rexom are looking to make the most of nights like this. Nights like this which seemed impossible when they were on the edge of oblivion. But now look at them holding Leicester City, a fallen Premier League club on their own patch. And in the end they could have won it. Nathan Broadhead leveling up their record signing after Welsh international Jordan James had fired Leicester City in front with a really beautifully constructed goal. But Rexom did not back off. They did not walk away. And Nathan Broadhead back at the club where he spent time as a youngster was there to finish things off for Rexom and level up. And Rexom take a point from the King Power Stadium. Leicester City jered off by some at the end. It’s finished Leicester City one. Rexom one.
