Another away trip for Lead United. This time Nottingham Forest provide the opposition. With the international break looming, Leads will want to take something from a game against one of the sides below them in the Premier League table. Two changes for the lead starting 11. Lucas Meta and Anton Staf both come in. [Applause] [Music] puts it up into the middle again. The heads go up. It’s still bouncing around. It’s hit low and it’s bobbled into the back of the No, it’s an amazing stop by Perry. Stretched an arm out and fingertip the ball as it was falling into the back of the goal. Now here’s Orca for at the other end through the middle for Aronson. Aronson has Meta. Meta is on the edge of the penalty area and he shoots and Meta scores. Terrific goal from Lead United. Nottingham Forest nil. Lead United one. Much much more work to be done yet on the edge of the penalty area. Leads are defending and the ball is still there for Forest to put into the middle. Perry with a low shot and it comes and it’s driven back into the back of the net and the home team are quickly back on level terms here. So that leads lead didn’t last anywhere long enough. Man in blue surrounded by men in red. And then stack comes across and he’s caught his man, but Stack has caught as well. He went in on Williams. It’s No wonder Stack was frustrated. Marillo now left foot long out towards the far side of the penalty area. Hutchinson waits and picks it up there on the edge of the box. Curls his cross in now and in it goes. The long crossfield ball from the controversial free kick and it’s Notty and Forest who are in front here. Forest two leads one and it comes down for James again. James trying to dance to a crowd. Curls his shots. It was a great effort. Well saved. Driven back in and just wide. Hutchinson down that right touch line coming forward now. Gets past his man. Harrison into the penalty area. Goes down. Penalty kick for Nottingham Forest. Amari Hutchinson got the wrong side of Jack Harrison who leaned into the back of him and Anderson steps up and Anderson scores emphatically and Nottingham Forest are on course for that second home win of the season. And there is the full-time whistle. And that is a real setback for Lead United who took the lead in this game through Met’s goal in the first half. But crucially, Leads couldn’t protect that lead for anywhere near long enough. A long international break of reflection lies ahead. It’s finished here at the City ground. Notty Forest 3, Lead United one.

  1. I'm so confused. We fight like hell to get to the Premier League yet every time we get here we play like we don't want to be here, don't like being here, shouldn't be here ??? so why even try to be here ? It doesn't make sense. Forest aren't a good side so what does that make us ?

  2. Time to be decisive! A new manager is needed quickly, but they must have experience in the Premier League or a top-flight European league. There's no point in hiring a manager with no or little experience when we have a chance to stay in the Premier League, even if it means selling off players that aren't PL level.

  3. A real issue is the lack auf subsitutions and not having enough real strikers. The defense is not up to scratch. DF is good in the championship but not in the Premiership. The owners have to show real intent and back the coming new manager. Put your money where your mouth is.🤨

  4. Not good enough I pray we sign a prem proven st in January and seems we need more defensive training why did we get free players stop being cheap look at Sunderland and look at results

  5. Massive problems on the left of defence. Gudmundsson can't defend. Twice in two games he's been done easily leading directly to goals. May as well play with 10 players if he's going to play.

  6. Fact for most of the game the leeds players were 2nd best and chasing shadows, this to a team with only ONE win todate. Boasting 6foot plus recruitment??? Bloody joke. Need new manager and 2 quality forwards or Championship football looming.

  7. Leeds are getting relegated, so incredibly limp and un-inspiring , seem to have no desire to score goals at all.

TBH this was exactly the same thing when Farke was in the Premier league before, they probably should have taken the decision to sack him before the season started.,

I actually thing some good signings were made in the summer, Gudmunsson, Stach, Okafor are excellent players but it's just completely lifeless stuff from Leeds most weeks.

  8. Leeds deserve it, dropping Ao Tanaka is the dumbest decision I've ever seen, the player of the Year performed perfectly last season and also played well in the Premier League, and then you guys want a new star to replace him recently lol😅Go back to the Championship

  9. This is what happens when you become overly pragmatic and completely change your style of play. There is ZERO identity in this team, and it simply doesn't work. Bad decisions like allowing Harrison back into the club and signing a striker on a free who doesn't know how to score also add to the downfall. We've lost our strengths and it's only weakness on display. The architects of our own downfall and it rests with Farke and the board.

  10. Farke's goose is cooked. He was ruthless with Bamford (and rightly so). It's time for the board to be ruthless with him (and also rightly so). They need to show leadership and act decisively.
