Hello, my name is Susan and I’m a 62 year old woman that retired and I sold my house and I’m traveling the world on my bicycle. I hope you will join me for my adventure. Thank you. Good morning. So, I’m off and riding again. I’ve got a beautiful day. I think it’s five degrees Celsius warmer. Still kind of chilly when I started out. I think it was around six Celsius, but um it has warmed up. I think the high for today is about 14 Celsius. So, uh could turn into perfect riding weather. And I’m uh just now finishing the first climb of the day. So, uh, I’m about 100 miles away from the from Kosovo, from the border. And, uh, so hopefully within a couple of days I’ll be there. It’s going to be a lot of climbing. This is very hilly, so or mountainous. Um, but I feel good about taking yesterday off. It was just nasty and was going to be bad at higher elevations, but I’m glad to be on my bike today. All right, I’ll check in later. So, I was just riding by this very small cafe and noticed that the car that was parked there had a Florida tag. So, I stopped and met Milo and Lena and uh they bought me a cup of coffee and uh we we had a lovely visit. It was such a nice surprise. You know, you just you never know what kind of magic there’s going to be during the day. And they were just lovely people. So, put a smile on my face. Now I’m ready to climb this next mountain. It’s gorgeous. Can you see that? I’m not sure what angle is going to get that, but man, this is gorgeous out here. I don’t know. jump. So, I made it into Colossian and um it’s so inexpensive to get a place to stay inside. I I had planned to sleep in my tent tonight. I’m kind of missing camping, but um this place was €30 for the night and there was a grocery store right next to it. So, I was able to resupply some of the groceries on my bike and also get stuff for dinner and for breakfast. So, uh yeah, I decided to stay in town. um got about 45 miles in. The first half of the day was um beautiful, just totally beautiful. Uh the last half of the day was pretty, but there was a lot of traffic on that road, so and a lot of trucks and stuff, so it was a little stressful. I was glad to get into town. Um so yeah, and so I’m hoping uh tomorrow is better as far as the traffic. It looks like I’ll be on secondary roads more tomorrow. So, but I think that the road that I was on at the end of the day is like the only road that where trucks can get into this area of Montenegro. So, hopefully tomorrow I’ll be uh crossing the border into Kosovo. We’ll see. Still a lot of climbing as I’m sure you can tell from the little clips that I did while I was riding. Um, not not a lot of flat in this area, but it it’s very pretty. And I love that it snowed the day before, so I had some snowcapped mountains to view. All righty, I’ll check in in the morning. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat.
