The winter months in Sweden can be very dark, especially when it's raining. To keep myself as safe as possible, I usually wrap a string light around my frame to light up and maybe put a smile on someone.
I usually ride with the following visibility setup:
- Jacket: High-vis jacket.
- Front Lights: Two headlights (one is a high beam).
- Helmet Light (Front): One blinking light on my helmet.
- Back Lights: Three back lights in total.
- One is on my helmet, blinking.
- Two are on the frame.
- Extra Visibility: Festive string lights wrapped around the bike frame.
My idea is simple: if I'm going to be hit by a car, they won't be able to say that they didn't see me.
