Max’s Chopper Bike
Max is a young 22 year old with big ambitions. As with many of these excellent discoveries I make, Max and his Chopper were on my path to filming the Thomas Telford’s Aquaduct.
This nice young man was making alterations to his creation. Joyfully, he gave me the guided tour of his pride and joy. What’s original (the frame only), what’s rare, and what it’s like to ride such a beast of a machine.
Thomas Telford would be proud that future engineers are still out there.
But, that’s not the end of the story for Max’s Beast of a Machine. The Beast is going electric in the not too distant future. Currently, research is going on in Max’s sphere for an electric motor, lithium battery, and charging features. Even ‘The Beast’ has to kneel before the Net Zero King.

On the way to the Telford Aquaduct. I encountered Max and his homemade bike. Max is a 22 year old, budding engineer. With aspirations of convertingÂ
this in to an electric bike. And, I have no doubt, that this kidÂ
will do great things in the future. And, I have no doubt that Mr.Â
Telford would be equally as proud. British Excellence begins like this. Woe, you don’t see that every day.
