Heya everyone!
Ive got a Norco Search XR S2 – and it’s awesome, but since getting it have started going on more gnarly trips, and i’m keen to put some wider tires on it (currently running 40mm maxxis ramblers).
Looking at something around the 2.2-2.4 inch range, but the clearance is currently around 50mm. I’ve attached photos for reference.
Any tips on how I could mess around with the bike to Make something wider Work? Here’s some of the options I’m thinking – would love any advice on them or additional ideas :))

putting on a different fork with better clearance, and having a 50mm tire on the rear.

apparently you can put 27.5 mtb tires on and they fit? Anyone able to back this up?
