Think you can fail a CBT? Not quite. In this short, we break down how the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) for motorcycles in the UK isn’t a traditional test with a pass or fail. Instead, it’s a training course designed to make sure you’re safe and ready to ride. Whether you’re just starting out or nervous about your first day, this will clear up the biggest CBT myth.

The main couple of things to remember from the CBT course, it is not a pass or fail day. If you don’t pass on the first day because you’re brand new to biking and it’s a little bit much for you, you only need more training.

What kind of bike is that?
What if I'm not into CBT?
Thats encouraging!
It’s not a pass or fail course, but if you fail🤔
It’s really easy to be honest. But when I did it I had already been riding an electric bike on the road and fully understood the Highway Code etc. to me getting on a 50cc moped felt similar just twice as fast so I whizzed through it. The other guy though was 16 and had never been on a bike so he slowed the course down massively lol.
So is that not a fail?
My father in law failed a guy as he was a danger to himself and other road users?
