The penultimate round of the UCI MTB World Cup in Mont Sainte Anne, Canada, began with only 186 points separating the top three women in the fight for the overall title. With the field still wide open, the pressure was on for Myriam Nicole, Tracey Hannah and Tahnée Seagrave to get as many points as possible.
As the top three riders took to the track, it was Seagrave who sat in the hot seat after taking it from Swiss rider Emilie Siegenthaler, beating her time by over 12 seconds.
