do you want to put the Haro Fusion alloy pedals
on your bike but you’re not sure if they fit your bike or the colors match or anything like that
hang tight because I’m going to do an explain and review about the Haro Fusion alloy pedals
and I’m going to tell you everything about this pedal from how they’re made uh to what colors they
come in to all these other little facts that you didn’t know about these pedals if you can’t wait
to watch this video on the premiere head over to my Instagram at stackbmxshop and subscribe to my
my Instagram and you can watch it right now but uh yeah here we go these are the Haro Fusion
pedals these are one of our most popular pedals and there’s a big reason why um these pedals are
uh designed or slash made out of the same mold as the Shimano DX pedals see it has a little little
four Adidas looking logo right there um it’s got all the little cutouts it’s perfectly shaped
like it um these pedals are just super awesome uh I think the main reason why people buy these
pedals is because the value of these pedals uh the value is that you get a great aluminum pedal for
about 30 35 bucks um at that price point that is a steal for a great looking pedal u on top of
that they come in some unique colors and they match a lot of different things this red looks
awesome the blue does the black and the polish does uh the gold we do get kind of a cross answers
from those we get a lot of older dudes that don’t know they’re color blind uh a lot of dudes that
don’t understand lighting uh for example uh here right now if you check this out I’m going show
you right now so these pedals are red right now and I’m going to change it let me see if I Oh you
can’t never mind oh wait here we go so we’re at um we’re at 4,850 Kelvin uh temperature so
I’m going to go up to 10,000 see how orange it is and the pedal looks different uh that’s
because it’s simulating a really orange sun but if you have these pedals and you’re inside
it’s more blue because uh it’s a different light source so the pedal and the red is going to look
different uh what I would suggest if you’re trying to figure out the exact color of these pedals
and if they match your bike I would take them outside and put them up to your bike because that
would give you the best understanding of what these pedals look like if you’re not too familiar
about lighting um if you go to a jew jewelry store uh they actually have lighting that is
temperatureed for outdoors so that the diamonds look more sparkly so keep that in
mind that lighting makes a big difference and uh just choose accordingly and be careful with
the gold uh if you’re looking for a super rich dark gold I would buy an aluminum pedal that’s
anodized these ones are anodized but they’re kind of a coating uh those ones tend to look more
like actual gold like a gold ring it has kind of a a tint of green to it not very much some people
are exaggerated but it has a slight green to it u but it’s more yellow or like a silver color so
if you’re you have a part that’s like that like it’s goldplated and it’s not aluminum yellow
gold then I would say grab these pedals cuz they look really good with those but the other
ones they don’t um with that said I don’t have one of those pedals because we sold out to show
you but I do have some other colors like blue um we got polish or silver we got your traditional black um so as you can
see these are all really good colors they’re look pretty sick um let’s talk more about the
product and how it’s made or what it’s made out of um so this one gets a little weird because
a lot of people don’t understand how things are made and they actually do a bunch of different
processes to make these which is kind of cool so starting off with the axle this is what
everything sits on uh this thing is a heat treated chromoly axle and it is unsealed unsealed
mean meaning they do don’t use precision sealed bearings they use ball bearings and a race
and a lock nut to keep these pedals together it also has a cap right on the end that says
fusion you can pop them off right there but my uh suggestion would be not to take these off and
not to fool with them if they come loose or they get messed up I suggest just buying another pedal
for 30 bucks it’s not worth your time your energy and also two is it’s really hard to get them
tight and correct um big big headache it’s not that big of a deal but if you’re cheap go ahead
have at it um as far as the pedals body goes uh these things are drop forged aluminum uh basically
a bunch of chips and aluminum smashed together and then they make this mold u there’s a little bit
more intricate things where the thing comes out to actually get these little pockets and all that
stuff it’s pretty intense of how those things are created but the drop forge aluminum it makes it
super reasonable to purchase it also makes it fast it makes it strong um and they just they just hold
up for the price um going to the actual pins these things are steel pins and they’re chromeplated
uh if you look on the back side you can unscrew them and thread them back in if they need to
be replaced except for the ones on the outside these ones are pushed in these ones are the ones
that normally get thrashed get pulled out popped off usually if that happens you can’t really put
some new ones back in um but overall these pedals are pretty solid there’s no shake right out of
the package they look good on almost every bike um if you’re wondering if these fit your bike
uh these come in multiple sizes but are more available in the 9/16 uh so 9/16 is the bigger
axle size or thread size and those fit three-piece cranks if it’s a smaller 1/2in one those fit
one piece cranks so if you’re looking to get these pedals make sure you select 1/2in pedals
if you have one piece cranks and make sure you select 9/16 if you have three-piece cranks and
make sure you go to Stack BMX and buy them from there because we gave you the information we
helped you sell or buy these for yourself and we made you or helped you pull the trigger to
get these pedals please don’t go somewhere else that is just using you guys taking your money and
not giving anything back to you uh you guys get back to me I give back to you and we’re a team
and you don’t want to play for the other team so uh yeah if you like these pedals you dig
them you have a bike that these things will match head over to stackbmx.com pick these up
and get you a new set of Haro Fusion pedals
