I retrieved this bike from my parent's attic. Apparently it had been up there for 40 years or more. They don't seem to know where it came from. It's a 1969 Huffy Super Stock with 24 inch tires and 3-speed internal hub.
I checked it over and I'm not sure that it was ever ridden. Everything appears to be original, including the tires, which are rather dry-rotted. I did a test on a small section of the chrome, and it polished up like new.
I'm trying to decide what to do with this. It needs new tires and tubes, new cables and brake pads, and the bearings need servicing. Is there a market for bikes like this? Should I sell it as is, or restore it first?
