ground in Slovakia with thermal baths and they’re right there. They just look like kitty pools in the sun. Paid extra to stay here. Not sure I’m going to go in one. It’s a Sunday heading out of Komaro, Hungary. Kamaros, Hungary, I think. Uh, this is a big thermal bath place, which I think I took a video there. They actually look like just kiddie pools, but they get heated by the sun, but what do I know? Anyway, heading over the bridge into Komaro, Slovakia, and final push. 80 miles left on this trip. 85 miles. So, I’m going to make it nice and slow because I don’t have to be in Budapest for like 5 days. By the way, if you’re ever in Hungary, Kentucky Fried Chicken does not have the chicken on the bone like the drumsticks and the thighs and stuff. It’s just chicken nuggets. So, tried twice. No, no. Uh, Kentucky Fried Chicken for me. Anyway, today we’re probably going into um Estregam, which I think is Hungary. It’s supposed to be one of the very nicest towns in Hungary. And we’re going to go through Stroovo, Slovakia, and then over the bridge into Esgam, uh Hungary. So, running out of space on my memory card again, but um hopefully we’ll film there and centre, which is also beautiful in Hungary and Budapest. Slovakian flea markets on Sunday. Couldn’t resist. What’s going on here? through couple small towns in Slovakia and just want to talk about Sundays. All the supermarkets are closed in the cities. The restaurants are open but the supermarkets are closed. I was lucky enough to find I forgot it was Sunday cuz usually on Saturday I go and buy food for all Sunday. But anyway, was lucky enough to find a supermarket. Um, believe it or not, I couldn’t find almost anything I wanted to eat but Doritos. And they were paprika. Everything’s Whoa. Everything’s bug. Everything’s papa in this country. So, it was like paprika doritos, paparita potato chips. They had some cheese that I think has papa in it and some bread. So, it’s enough to get me through lunch. Tonight, I got a nice quiet shady ride. And tonight I am going to Stoovo in Slovakia and then I’m crossing the bridge into ex Estam Hungary which is supposed to be one of the really pretty towns on the Danube and Hungry to see. Estregam is one. Senendre is one. I think Vicerad I got them all written down. Anyway, 18 more miles. I’ll be there right after lunch. I’ll probably find somewhere to eat my paprika cheese after in about an hour. That is the Slovakia. And this is the Danube. It’s like a It’s like an ocean right here. It’s huge. And then over here is Estum, Hungary. And I’m going to go all exploring up there tomorrow. I was only supposed to go half a distance this day, but I figure I’ll come here tomorrow and I’ll go up and explore that. But it’s amazing how big the Danube is. You got your Slovakia and you got your Hungary Gam Hungary. First capital of Hungary before I think whatever it is else Budapest. Going to go into the old town for a bit. Everything’s closed on Monday. Sunday and Monday they’re closed. Anyway, we’ll go into the basilica, blah blah. Maybe go up there and then we’re off to vice hunger. Oops. It’s Monday the 22nd. I’m at a cute little like bicycle rest stop here. You can sit in the sun. This is where I’m going to sit. Oh, still got my light on because guess what? In Slovenia, there are roads. No bicycle pass back here in eastern Slovakia. Anyway, I came from Guor, crossed the river, went into Stoova, crossed the bridge, camped in Estre, went back over here. I’m in Shalaba, and I’m going to Zab. And then what you don’t know because this is Slovakia. They’re not going to advertise Hungary, but uh Vicerad’s right. Oh, no. Then I’m going to cross here and I’m going to go this way and then I’m going to go to Vicerad and then tomorrow I’m going to come down along the bike path to Centre and then Budapest is down there. The stretch from Stoovo out towards Bratoslava [Applause] has the most beautiful part of the Danube I’ve seen. It’s got these like I didn’t film it, but it’s got islands in the middle of the river and it’s just spectacular. Got this nice little bike path park thing going on. Very nice. So, I’m about four miles from Zab, which is going and then I’m going to take the ferry across to uh Vicerad. Anyway, you can’t see the uh river anymore. It goes through these small towns. Had the best camping. Germany had the best riding scenery and food, but this part of Slovakia, it’s just before the bend to go south to um Budapest, has really really nice um scenery. And this is the Slovakian side. So, I really like this side. Um the other side apparently is inland over those mountains and it’s all full of cars. So very nice. Got this like very nice like path with benches and stuff. There I am. Had a little casualties here, but I’ll figure out what to do with that later. Anyway, Zab is only one or mile that way and Vicerad’s over there and the ferry just takes you across every hour. And today I’m going to go up there and check out that heading on the ferry. We’re in Zab Slovakia and heading into Biscarad Hungary right here. Film a little later. I don’t get this how it works. The tugboat backs up to the ferry. [Music] And we’re heading off.
