I’m currently running 28c tires on the front and 30c on the rear, and as a performance road cyclist, I find this setup perfectly balanced and very satisfying.
Now I’m even considering going 30c front and 32c rear — there are more benefits than you might think.
In the past, when I was obsessed with pure speed, I used 19c tires, but that setup only works well on flat, smooth roads.
Discover why wider tires can improve comfort, control, and overall ride quality without sacrificing much speed.

A road bike carrying a smartphone suddenly falls over. Modern road bikes now have wider tires, about 28 C or more. But older rim brake bikes used 23 C tires. So, doesn’t it almost look like the tire just popped

  1. Road Bike Rules:

    1. Always wear a helmet
    2. Always have at least 1 eye on the Road / Surface to avoid this situation…..
    3. Always have both hands on the Bar, except for drinking and eating.
    4. ESPECIALLY FOLLOW THESE RULES ON SUCH DANGEROUS SURFACES.

  2. Gee, that footage of that man falling off the bike is fake.
Look carefully at his arms and legs and then you'll realize it's A.I. animation.
But it doesn't matter that much by the way, the most important is the message it gives us. 😂

  3. It's never happened to me. All the years. Some people think, having bigger tyres.on road bikes.you get less punctures. Not true.
I ride on 23c . And a point to make . Not all cyclist have ridden rimbrake, or aluminium frame, or 23c 25c……. tyres. But comment ,on what's better.
