6 Days Riding The Peloponnesian Coast

said it before on this channel and I’ll say it again. Cycling the Pelpeneisian coast in Greece is amazing. [Music] I just did a retreat in Greece with Bike Me Up out of Athens. And when I say just, it was about a month ago, but um I don’t know if you get a idea of what life is like living with a 2-year-old and a three-year-old, but um it’s a bit chaotic. And yes, now we are getting the video done. Our trip was 7 days total. We rode for five and two of those days were travel days. Vroom vroom. We used ebikes um because it’s a very mountainous region and you could just pedal the whole thing if you wanted an extremely good workout. But um we were there for vacation so we got a pretty good workout and we got to swim and we got to eat really good food and rest and not feel um shredded. All right, guys. [Music] Avery. Yeah. [Music] Yeah. Like this. [Music] [Applause] used to be a pool for the pirate boat. For the pirate boats, [Music] the first place we stayed was this place called Sitha de Niclani. is like it’s like an ancient tower that was converted into a hotel. You feel like you’re living in a place full of history and it’s just beautiful and it’s so quiet and so beautiful. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Views, sunsets, food. I mean, the place was really special. [Music] Hi. Yeah. Oo. [Music] Oo. [Music] Hey, [Music] it’s just kind of left. Okay. [Music] Oh my god. [Music] You don’t like my impromptu dinner attire? Your husband will love it. Oh man. On day three, instead of doing a loop, we did a pointto-point ride from Ka up to Cardelli, which is where the bike race um began that I did in this region like six years ago in that video. [Music] It’s a really special seaside town. [Music] Yeah. [Music] Let’s come [Music] [Music] later. You [Music] Jen’s doing donuts. [Music] I need more wine. Oh no. Okay, we’re doing a team relay race technically to round out the uh the cycling into a full triathlon. These are the rules. I don’t know them. Jen knows them. I don’t think there are any. But these are some ideas. No diving. And you have to have a pool toy at all times. Yes. Yes. You must have a pool toy at all times. And the anchor must exit the pool that way and run to the slide and slide down the slide. It’s really a race to the bottom of the slide, unless you really want to be competitive and yank someone off the stairs. All right. What do we do again? Go. Come on. Come on. Go on. Go Jed. Go Jed. Go Jed. Go back. [Applause] Did she lose her tongue? Yeah. Did she pull her pants out? Oh, is it? One thing we didn’t think of. We should have poured water down the slide first. Awesome. Our home for the next three nights was Leodentra. These gorgeous side by side stoneuilt villas right by the ocean. Built with many stone and old Byzantine tiles. has a pool and a little playground sort of thing and some gardens. It was really pretty. And this is where we kicked off our last two days of riding really beautiful picturesque loops around the Cardill area and surrounding mountains. He had he was a traveling rider but not a good one. [Laughter] Come on. You didn’t swallow it. It’s better than I expected. Much better than it smells. Much better than it smells. It does not taste like grass. Tastes like sweet grass. Cheers.
