I’d been wanting to do this for a while. I have relatively short legs compared to my height.

First impressions (my regular Mandeville Canyon ride—30 miles, with 1800ft elevation, decent climb w short kicker at the end):

Rotation feels more even—far smoother over the top. No deadspot, no stomp into the downstroke. Less knee flexion. Very big improvement.

Upper body feels more open. Thigh doesn’t come as close to body at TDC. Breathing felt easier. I raised the saddle to adjust for the higher pedal (at bottom of rotation) but didn’t adjust the bars. The new position felt great.

Noticed that my weak hamstring was twinging somewhat, so I moved the saddle forward 3mm after the ride, which should help. I’ll do a flat ride today just to check that and see how the change feels in Z2 and in threshold.
Very happy with the change. 45g lighter too.
