  1. BS editing, full story per @kevin…"The 2 cyclists at the beginning stopped and press the pole to activate the yellow warning lights (whoever posted the video conveniently edited the first part when they are waiting and cropped the image so we cant see the lights) incoming cyclist saw the lights and safely assumed he could go thru. Both white cars ignored the lights and one of them run him over, after the incident the car drove away and was never identified. This happened in November 2019 in Pinellas County and cyclist faced no charges."

  2. Had something similar happen just today. We stopped at the stop sign and went a bicyclist came right at us. I was the passenger so I saw him speeding through he looked to the right and wasn’t planning to stop at the stop sign. We could not stop or had the time to speed up. He tried the blame it on us and a witness came saying he saw him run into our car. When we called the police he bolted out saying “he’s going to the hospital and will get in touch with us. This is while not giving his info and was already threatening us and saying why bring the cops.

We got the conversation on dashcam and his picture. I was so shocked that I realized in the moment it’s tough to take out a phone to record everything so a dashcam was essential

  3. This is not entitlement, it's next level stupid. There is a recent phenomenon where people purposely do stuff like drive in to traffic and whatever happens happens. They play chicken with unsuspecting people cause they don't care, dnd if you have a problem with that too bad. just an example of some urban attitudes today.

  4. The traffi rules here aren't necessarily clear. The stop sign appears tp be for the sidewalk not the road. There is a crosswalk there, amd apparently some people think crosswalk means you can just throw yourself in front of traffic. But the cyclist didn't stop for the sidewalk either, nor is he a pedestrian, so he doesn't get the pedestrian right of way either.
