I take my brand new Canyon Neuron ON Cllctv to Portugal to ride some epic locations and make the most of this super powerful Bosch CX motor! Would you ride this?

Lisbon is home to a HUGE selection of different terrain to ride and shred so I escape the UK to find some sun, unfortunately I end up finding more rain than at home but that didn’t stop the fun. I ride Sintra MTB trails, huge dirt jumps and endless fun spots around Lisbon and the outskirts. The new Canyon electric bike feels amazing and the level of fun was out the roof!

I’m out in Portugal with my brand new Canyon Neuron on Collective. Look at this beauty. First spot of the day is Cra. We’re going to go and meet some locals and shred some trails. Let’s get it. Yo, boys. How you doing, Michael? Yo, Rodrigo, how you doing, mate? What we doing today? So, we’re going to ride the steep rock now. Yeah. Yeah. Sick. Let’s get it then. Let’s go. Send it, boys. Oh, that is slick. First spot is this big rock slab. Super cool. We done it last time we were here. It’s well steep and you’ve got to like try and flow into it which is fun. I think Michael wants to go first. He looks like he’s really stoked. Always. Yeah. Look at that. It’s well steep. And then the run out is just pure wet and boggy. So that should be well fun. Let’s give it a go, shall we? Oh, bit of rock action. Oh, yes. That’s actually well good. Oh, he’s in. He’s in. Yeah. All right. It feels too easy, doesn’t it? Yeah. That was so sick. When you when you check the like on the top looks so steep, but from here it’s super okay. Yeah. Right. Like and so grippy. Yeah, it is. Let’s try and like stopy on it. That’s scary. I quite like with the trials at the top. Oh. Oh. Yo. We’re going to try some overtaking now. There’s another little line on the inside. It’s kind of sketchy with roots. I reckon we all go and just see what happens. We see. Let’s Let’s make a I’m going to be on here. So hopefully we don’t. We just go. No plans. Just go. Drop in. Did you come behind me then? Yo, so close. Yeah, cuz I was so slow on there. Then just finished up the first spot. Got the blood pumping a little bit. We’re now going to blast down and see what fun trails we can find in CRA. It’s now time to move on to another location then. Let’s get out of here. Next spot, Sherland. There’s this sick jump line here. As you can see, it winds down the hill. Little bit of rain has been in the air, so it’s kind of worn it away after a little bit of work. We’ve got it running and it’s time for first test. Let’s give it a go. [Music] [Music] Yeah. [Music] Wow. Okay. [Music] Oh, that’s good. Huh? Heat. [Music] E, that’s too good. Flatsman looked insane. I was like looking at you. It was slow. Yeah. Oh, that’s the dream. Sickness. Wow. What a sick spot. This is Sherland. Super fun. Obviously, we’ve come at a bit of a wet time in the season. It’s like a motocross track. Look at the tires. But that made the whips feel super motoy and good. Love that. We’re now going to move on to another location tomorrow. Let’s get out of here. It’s now the next day. We’ve come to this infamous ridge line here. It’s pretty gnarly. It runs alongside this crazy overhanging cliff. It’s time to get to the top. It’s super windy. We’re going to make it happen. Let’s go. Here you go. Insane ridge line action coming up into the scary bit. Oh, that’s windy. Right, I’ve just landed the drone. It’s pouring now as the storm has come in heavy. So, hopefully that shot’s a banger. We just got caught in an insane storm on that ridge. Then, uh didn’t quite get the shot I wanted. And I wanted to land in manual again like I did in the past, but it was so windy and then we’ve been destroyed now. Yeah, it was so wet. We’re now going to move back towards Lisbon and see if we can find some drier weather over there. Let’s go. Unfortunately, it just didn’t stop raining all day until now. But everything’s soaked. We’ve come into the city to try and find some stuff. I’m going to do this doomer here. I’m probably not going to go flat out. It’s literally like marble. But let’s give it a go. See what happens. dropping. Here we go. Doomage. Oh yeah, it’s pretty good. It’s pretty decent grip. Oh yo, that’s scary. Look how slidy it is everywhere. It’s literally like an ice rink. Let’s go and find some more. It’s now the next day and it’s finally stopped raining. The sun’s come out, but unfortunately we don’t have much time. If you’d have noticed throughout the video, I had a strap here. That’s because I rented a battery, but it actually didn’t fit properly. And those straps saved the whole trip cuz it was able to keep the battery in. So, right now for the finale, we are actually batteryless. We’ve come to this little bike park. It’s been destroyed by the rain. Everywhere here is destroyed. But we’re going to finish off fun little session on these jumps. But this bike’s been so sick. Like at CRA, I’ve updated that Bosch CX motor, so it’s got 100 new meters of torque. And that was like blasting up the hill so easily. That was a Yeah, super cool time. Just wasn’t the best weather. We’re going to do a few laps on here for the finale. Let’s get into it. Okay, there’s not much working in this bike park, but there’s this cool wall ride section. Quite a big drop into it for like a public bike park. It’s pretty sick. And then wool lower section. Let’s blast a lap of that. Here we go. Dropping. So cool. Yes. Oh. Oh, so fun. Wa. What a cool bike park. Actually sick. We just found this here. Bit depressing about all the rain ruts, but the weather has been awful and is going to be awful for the next days. We’ve got pretty lucky with this blue weather today. It’s been a sick session here on the Canyon Neuron Collective. I absolutely love this bike. The color way. The way the red forks pop with the whole bike is sick. I only done two mods to this. Changed the Urggon saddle. This is the SM Mountain Pro saddle. It’s got this lip on there so when you’re doing hill climbs, you kind of get sat into the seat better. Love that thing. And we got the Halo Skeleter wheel set on there for all the confidence when you’re smashing through rocks. Oh, and of course, Pill Grips are fitted to match the forks. Yeah, water bike. Absolutely love it. Unfortunately, we’re running out of time. We’ve got a flight to catch soon. And we want to film on the jump bike, which you’ll see in the next video.
