Hello, my name is Susan and I’m a 62 year old woman that retired and I sold my house and I’m traveling the world on my bicycle. I hope you will join me for my adventure. Thank you. Good morning. Having a lovely ride today. I was on a little bit of a busy road for a while, uh, which you’ll probably see in the video, but now I’m on this road that really has no traffic at all. And, uh, enjoying a beautiful view. I don’t know if you can see the ferry out there. It just left to go to one of the Croatian islands. And a lot of people that cycle in this region hop from one island to another as they’re riding north or south. Unfortunately, I do not have time to do that because I’m running out of shenan days. So, I um hoping to get to Bosnia Herzgoina by the end of today. I should be able to make it. and um then I’ll uh be able to take my time for a little bit and not have to worry about shenen days. Although I can’t imagine who’s going to total up all these stamps in my passport to figure out how long I’ve been here uh since I’ve entered and exited the Shingen zone. I don’t know, many times seven times in the last 180 days. So, yeah, it’d be a lot of uh math to figure out for them how long I’ve been here. Anyhow, uh I uh am uh enjoying the ride and had a good night’s sleep in the apartment. And um yeah, I think that’s I think that’s all I know. Um hoping to find some traditional Croasian food for lunch. Um, haven’t had any yet. So, um, we’ll see what I come up with. All right, check in later. Riding up to the Croatia Bosnia Herzuggavina border. Should be in the next mile or so. Woo! All right, I’m out of Croatia and somewhere up here I’ll be in Bosnia, Herzuggavina. Right now I guess I’m in no man’s land. Heat. Heat. Everybody’s beeping. All right. Maybe there is no other. Maybe that was it. All right. All right. So, it looks like the check-in for Bosnia is up here. Just wasn’t quite to it yet. Here it is. Much smaller structure. Looks like no line, which is nice. All right, I had been told people had a hard time getting stamps, but I got a stamp at both of the windows. So, I’m officially in Bosnia. And there’s our welcome. Very nice. The uh both of the people at the stations were very nice. The Bosnia people were laughing and smiling. Yeah, it was it was good to see. All right. Well, I’m going to turn you off and figure out my route. Good evening. Well, I am in Bosnia, as you know, and uh found a place to camp about the time that I started sprinkling. still doing a little bit of it. I don’t think it’s going to rain too much, but I found a nice grassy spot. And I’ll include a picture in the uh mapping at the end so you can see where my tent is. But uh it’s a lot of rocks in this area and so it took me a while to find a spot. But I think this is pretty good. I’m kind of between two roads, but nobody can see me. And um yeah, so hopefully I’m going to have a good night’s sleep here near the top of the mountain. Um need to sit and look at my map and figure out where I’m going to go tomorrow. Um I had thought out the Croatia part to get into Bosnia and to get out of the Shingen zone, but I really had not um thought past that with great detail. I mean, it’s all on the way to Istanbul, but there are a variety of routes I can take to get there. So, anyhow, I’m going to do that tonight while I lay here in my tent after I make some dinner. I picked up some ramen while I was in Croatia. So, I’m going to cook that. And yeah, it’s it’s been a long time since I’ve cooked dinner in camp. And uh it feels like it’s been a long time since I’ve slept in my tent. So anyway, uh I’lluh check in in the morning and let you know what I’ve determined about my route. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. 1. It's going to be interesting to hear which route you decide on as you'll still need to pass through either Greece or Bulgaria as part of your Schengen days. Also, though the series is titled as RTW you've mainly described just getting to Turkey. Any thoughts if you will continue on?
