Hello guys, let me save you guys a lot of headache for those of you who want to join Uber in 2025 as a private hired driver. My own experience has been traumatic. Traumatic in the sense that the license that you have to take, first registration, the vehicle has to be of a certain age. uh the fees for the licenses, the practical test that you may take, the knowledge test and uh your insurance. Your insurance is going to be very expensive first time especially and uh you go through all of the hurdles of getting this license and then the reality hits you once you’re activated and you’re working for Uber and the money they offer. Then you scratch your head and you think, “What have you done?”

Paying good here in Texas. Been Avg $27 hour usually work 10 hour days. Whether im servicing the airport or town. Maybe spending on avg 120-130 on fuel ….
you can make good money doing uber, you prolly doin 2$ 3$ orders like a dumbass, im averaging $200 a day. you just need to know proper time and place. and idk why all those license and test you need to take are traumatic there just one time things, i think your trauma is coming from your withdrawal symptoms of not smoking a cig every 2 mins and you should've gone to college

Dear progresswithjod. Please teach your subscibers and viewers about depreciation on our cars! I bought a car for $24,000 3 years ago and now after 110,000 miles of ubering it is only worth just $4,000 to $6,000 and now the car sometimes costs more to fix than I am earning with Uber. If my car had been new and much more expensive I would have lost much more!! Drivers must learn this so we stop taking money losing rides. And they stop letting Uber steal the lowered value of our cars.

Uber drivers be careful, don’t deliver someone’s package when people request a Uber and not taking a ride but give you a package to deliver! It might be an illegal item that it would put you in trouble if you are caught by police ! Too many bad people out there!

Uber charges the rider too much money. Therefore the rider does not tip. For some side work I tried this gig. It is true riders do not tip. maybe 8 out of 50 riders do.

100% I been doing uber 3 years now in and around London and it’s absolutely SHIT!!! If you wanna make money it’s 10 hour days 7 days a week anyone saying otherwise is talking shit. They have no life, fat out of shape, sleep in their cars away from their wives so they bang prostitutes on road and then they wanna pay 300-400 to Otto or splend on some BS car. Please don something else if your young like go get an education.

I only started Uber because right now my current situation is I can’t do full-time 40 hours contract job on someone else’s term because I have to balance my home life and work life so I just resigned from my management job and started Uber so far is going alright it can be very frustrating Depending on where you driving and what time you driving and some of those idiot drivers in Birmingham plus because they know that you on a job right now driving that prius Uber car so they bully you honk at you for no reason because they know we’re not gonna say to them anything in return otherwise u your own boss and the flexibility is amazing, money can be amazing too it’s just all up to you n where u drive.

I drive for Uber eats. You never turned down a uber job. Nowadays a decline over %90. It went to shit its worse then doordash.
Boo hoo hoo😢. I drive for Uber. I detail my car daily. It’s always clean and smells good. I drive smooth. I make very good money and get tipped more than other drivers because I care about the service and presentation. I don’t turn down trips because they are less profitable than others.

I was a drive for 3 years. I made good money and good tips. The downside to Uber is they can deactivate you at the drop of a dime. They have no loyalty to you. I did over 10k trips and 400 5 star surveys. They don’t care!! So financially it’s def worth it. Just don’t put all your eggs in it, cuz it can go away just like that!!
Uber is a scam worked 81 hours earned $2010 173 was Tips so imagine how much Uber pay I helped one rider to adjust his destination like we changed it and he was an event so I saw how much they charged him. They charge him 275 and I get only $128. When I called them. They said we’re gonna investigate. They send me an email later on they said upon check-in you earned more than average.
