Callum Burton, Callum Doyle, the only alteration in the whole squad back from suspension. Ryan Hardy, George Thomasson, George Dobson, Sam Smith, Ryan Barnett, Nathan Broadhead, and Ryan Longman. We’ll go through the port side when we get an opportunity as Rexom get us underway. Easy header away for Pool. Welsh international center back for Portsmouth. They get a free kick in the center circle now as Murphy on the left side of the box drills in a shot. Good save by a conqu he had it covered comfortably but his hands were sharply up above his head to cover that and as you might expect having had their manager John Lucinu on their backs they’re reacting aren’t they? Yeah and Jacob Murphy is a big part of going to be a big part of that tonight. He’s been such a big player for Portsmouth over the last couple of seasons so far this season as she drives forwards well. Windas in space on the left. Chief 25 yds out feeds a clever pass. Kakasha laser off O’Brien. Good save by Bersk. Lovely snappy combination play and Bersik had to be quick getting down low to his right. There’s a defender in his view. Push it behind for the corner. Yeah, really nice play by Rexom though. It’s worked really well. Ben She just has so much grass in front of him to run onto. Finds a really nice ball into Kache. It’s a little layoff. Lewis O’Brien just thinking hit the target. Can you cause him problems? does that. But it’s a decent save. Like I said, defending set pieces. It’s a short one. James on his left foot plays it in near post. Good lunging clearance. O’Brien though hits the goal mouth. Pulls it into the far post. More with a header. Fabulous save. Moore claims it crossed the line, but Bobby Madley’s watcher wearable technology disagrees. Will have seen the Birmingham highlights game and said, you know, three set pieces ending up in goals against Portsmouth. first opportunity you get surely you’re going to put them under a bit of pressure. It’s obviously something Portzmouth will have looked at as well to try and correct the problem that they had but still you’ve got to ask the question for me turns a droidly good ball inside as well. She has got more making a run and O’Brien the other way. She carries to the edge of the area drills a shot just wide. Oh, they backed off him so much. There were good options he had either sides, but goodness me, that was closer hitting the bottom corner. Well, Windas brilliant in the center of midfield. Gets it to She and it’s two really good runs from O’Brien and Kefir Moore. They split. They drop the Portsmouth defenders and he keeps going. I think he’s desperate to pass it but then finds himself on the edge of the box and he has to hit it. Just doesn’t catch it as sweet as he’d like. Well told Moy to keep in a kabore pass. Referee plays advantage and it’s a good advantage. Window sweeps in the cross headed over his own bar for a corner by Knight. I feel Knight has made a lot of interventions and often feels to me like he’s he’s sort of at full extension where playing balls in which are asking questions of him and he’s kind of getting away with the odd interception or like they’re balling behind him lunging header to just about get away with us getting there on the back of them. That’s a great run by Windendas. Deep into his own half. Two Pen Fers come with him. Kabore. Oh, is charged down. Danger here now. Bishop looks offside. Flag stays down. Bishop tight angle. Great defending by Kache who then turns and gives a piece of his mind to the linesman. But Kabore’s error could have been extremely costly there. Yeah. that the two Portsmouth forwards just step on to Rexom and say to Cabore, I’ll make a decision then and he just makes the wrong one and tries to cut inside. It’s always going to cause himself problems. Not sure whether a Conquo maybe could just show for him a little bit more as as that sort of spare man in that situation. Here’s Williams on a narrow position out wide to Bow cuts inside taking on Kabori tries the shot. Great save. Hell of a good hit there by Power Bow. It was unexpected as he cut it on his right foot. Drilled it. Was heading in the bottom left corner. Stuck it well. Great save by Aongo. Full stretch. So alert. It racks him under real pressure. Well, when he receives the ball Murphy out there, there’s nothing on, but he cuts it on his right foot. He hits it from an angle and it looks like it’s going to sneak in that near post cuz a Conquo is more towards the back post expecting a cross. He does ever so well. Gets that go gadget arm out and just tips it around the post. Catch being shoved into a concourse. Played a nicely ahead. A big save that. Hell of a save by a conquo. The ball play to the far post and a powerful header came in. Great stop there. It’s close range and he’s just got across and got his legs to it, hasn’t he? But well, it’s a free header. Six yds out. Heads it down like he should do. A conquo makes his way across the and just hits him more than anything. but strong stands up to it. Deflects it out. Bishop I think it was who got the headed on and it well finds O’Brien’s running through the middle. He’s one. Can he find the finish? Takes on the keeper and it’s a good save by Bersk. Picache tries to hit a shot from 40 yds. And well, lovely move that by Rexom. But sadly O’Brien again with that oneonone can’t find the finish. Yeah, it does feel like Lewis O’Brien gets one of these every single game at the moment and he just can’t find that last little bit to get right and get that ball in the back of the net. If he did, you do worry he probably would be playing higher than this division because that’s just that final part of his game that he just needs to unlock. Well, Josh Windas really bright from the free kick from Kefir Moore Williams can shoot. He squares it and now it’s a great chance the ball’s laid off. Left footed strike and scarred as well. Gets the foot in and deflects it over the bar. Chaplain drilled it in left footed and Rexom have another corner to defend. Well, it just opens up for Chaplain. Just touch and shoot. Just takes that little bit extra. But Scar gets himself a back between goal and ball. Wanted to find Broadhead. He made a good run off him. And now here once more, but Rexo immediately dropping deep long range shot behind it. Gets his body behind it and grabs it. It doesn’t go anywhere away from him to be fair. But Chaplain hitting it spitefully. Yeah. And you just worry that Rexom need to be really careful as they enter towards the last five or six minutes. Murphy and Williams down the left have been terrific. The Rexom center backs have been outstanding and the ref blows early. So there we go. A nil nil draw on the rose and although there are some booze in the Portsmouth fans I mean after their defensive wos on Saturday they’ve got to be happy to keep a clean sheet against the Rexom side that has done just done so well against the top Two.

  1. "…cos we've got Moore, and he's about to score…if it comes through the air, or comes on the floor…"
8 planes in the air in 20 minutes?
    Seems daaamn slow!
    I was thinking 2 or 3 a minute!!!
I saw a blip of light come from somewhere in the solar system, when it was close enough you could distinguish two blips, ever brighter
Very quickly they were in low earth orbit, a bit higher than planes usually are, and the two blips of light performed a chase sequence, with impossible speeds, angles, changes of directions, that lasted just a minute or so
Upon termination both sped off to the same point in the night sky they had just come from, quickly becoming a single blip of light to the eye, as they quickly and gradually disappeared
That was 2003/2004 southern Spain, Murcia/Almeria, high summer, 2/3/4am, two persons witnessed
They were fast but not interstellar fast, so surely local
I got the feeling I was watching creatures, as if space was their sea, and not beings piloting craft, the whole spectacle just seemed so natural, casual, and innocent, as if the two things were eating, dancing, bathing or making love…

…i got the impression they were timid, shy, fearful, and perhaps not particularly intelligent

  2. Pompey fan, thought this was an excellent game, proper old school, great fight and determination from both sides, something we have been lacking, you certainly had the best chances, thought your keeper and the lad at right back were excellent, good luck for rest of season.

  3. Wrexham were lucky as they looked awful for 90% of the game. Ref was awful and clearly favoured Wrexham. Good game overall. Also skarr should of been carded multiple times for fouls.

  4. You should have brought Ryan Hardie on, every time he played against us (Pompey) as a Plymouth player he's scored, been our bogeyman. HE would have scored that goal that O Brien missed as well.

  5. What did the welsh do to me 😂watched the Doku from Wrexham with my hubby.
Chased down the song Yam o Hyd and found the most amazing clip when he sung it in the stadium when you folks played against Austria. And now I’m here following Wrexham because i couldn’t stop after the Doku ended. Wish you all the best from Australia. I keep an eye on you 😉

  6. As a Man City fan I like Wrexham. I chose them in Football Manager and no we are fighting for top 8 in the Premier League. It could soon be a reality for the club in real life. Keep supporting Wrexham and Ryan Reynolds.

  7. I just think it is marvellous how women are involved in every single aspect of men's lives these days from video games to sports to any form of masculinity in movies and TV. Every man wants and needs female commentators in mens sports, especially football. They are so good, knowlegable and relatable. Can't believe how backwards it used to be.

  8. I had to do a double take at the start when the female commentator said Jacob Murphy instead of Josh Murphy. I was like wow he just played for Newcastle in the champions league.

  10. Wrexham has zero identity. zero. They can't decides who they are going to be from match to match and half to half. Midfielders play to deep making long balls and runs up the sides easy to defend. Its the same old problem we have witnessed over and over.
