PLANESPOTTING VLOG on a BIKE near Cologne Bonn Airport GERMANY CGN 🇩🇪

I didn’t ride my mountain bike since more than 10 years… So, it was time to ride again!
The air suspension of the bike had a problem — the bike was very low, and I almost touched the ground with the pedals.
Anyway, I thought: Why not do a bike video near my airport KölnBonn Cologne/Bonn in Germany?
I didn’t do much editing, it’s raw and realstic, not a fake VLOG like so many.
@GabrielTravelerVideos made a video in Bali on a bicycle 2 weeks ago, I liked it and so now here my bike VLOG! I am doing this just for fun…

So, ladies and gentlemen, it’s the first time now since 10 years that I’m on a bike and uh I can still ride my bike, my mountain bike. Hopefully there will be no dog attacking me. [Applause] I saw I’m here in the nature. I saw a few weeks ago a video from Gabriel Traveler where he was on the bike in Bali in San I think. And then I thought it was an interesting video. He was just talking and showing everything. And then I thought then I remembered I also have a bike and I think the last time that I used it was somewhere in the Netherlands. And then because I have a mountain bike and there not so many mountains in the Netherlands and I thought normally I need a racing bike again and I had one but I gave it someone and then he sold it and without telling me and all. Anyway, I still have my mountain bike and it’s nice it’s nice not to sit always in the car or on the sofa or in front of the computer. But yeah, I have a problem. The bike is very deep. There’s such a I have to write that down. And I don’t know the English word for it. It’s very deep. So I must be careful when I’m that I don’t touch the floor with the pedals. Am I filming? Yes. I am two dogs. Yeah. And they asked me if I would pass here. [Applause] I was hanging with the pedals on the floor. They were like maybe 10 years older than me. And they said they they told the dogs, “Come on, let the young man let the young man pass by.” Although I’m also not the youngest. So I have I have my DJI action cam now in my hand. I don’t know if I clip it here with a clip thing on the on the bike if then still if it’s still okay the quality or if it’s too bumpy. I have to check that out later. The saddle could be more comfortable. That is really hard like a stone. [Applause] We are here near the airport Cologne Bon and I have a free parking here on the side of the airport. I wanted to check out if I can park the car here if I’m traveling somewhere with hand luggage only. But then I read some reviews about this parking where I’m now and some people said that at night there are some idiots coming and they destroy the cars. They They they smash the windows or they destroy the the tires with the knife. So I think they will not park there. Imagine you arrive at night, you walk 30 minutes to the airport and then when you’re at your car at night and then one or two wheels or whatever are destroyed. [Applause] So that is really interesting to sit on the bike after more than 10 years I think. So yeah, I saw Gabriel Traveler in Bali on the bike and then I told and then he said, “Sorry, now I’m on the bike. That’s very boring and all.” And then I wrote in a comment that it was a good video on the bike and because when you sit in the car and you’re filming then it’s always so fast and when you’re on the bike on a slow speed you can see more. I told him to do more bike videos, but now he’s in Korea and one time he used the the subway system in Busan and since then I’ve only seen him in taxis in Ubers. And then I thought, yeah, I should now finally take out my bike, pump the pump pump the tires, and then go go to the nature. But I think I need another saddle. That is not comfortable. That is maybe if you have a very fat butt, it’s no problem. I don’t know, but could be more comfortable. [Applause] Yeah, there’s the airport. There’s the airfield. There was another biker coming. I’m not wearing a helmet also. Normally, uh I think I mean when we were young, we never used helmets, but I think nowadays the people all use a helmet because I think it’s too dangerous. And of course, you can have terrible accidents on a bike also, but I’m driving at such a low speed. Oh, and I don’t have a helmet also. I had long time ago helmet for skiing, but I don’t know where that helmet is now. I think we threw it on the rubbish. So, now we are coming. I see the light. I see the landings, the landing illumination. If I had three arms, I could now use my take my phone and watch simultaneously which plane will be landing now next. But I have only two arms and I need one minimum for the bike. [Applause] All right. [Applause] I’m only 5 minutes on the bike and I’m so exhausted. Was a test drive. So great. Yeah, that’s the light. Have a look. It’s awesome. I always wanted to come here at night already since many years. I’ve never been here at night. And uh yeah, this is the airport uh Cologne bond in West Germany. And that is also a base for UPS, United Parcel, United Parcel Service. And then we all saw this horrible crash there in Louisville few days ago, three three or four days ago. And uh you cannot see that here. I’m using my action cam, but there are the jets from UPS parking. And every day when I’m hearing a loud noise of a plane, then I when I watch out of the window or I check on flight radar, then I see that this is a Boeing 747 cargo plane from Louisville. They all flying here every day to Cologne. And then when this plane crashed, that was on the way to Honolulu. is MD11 and then I first thought maybe that is here the plane that will come to Cologne but that was actually the plane that should should should arrive in Honolulu in in Hawaii. Yeah, this is here now the perfect spot for a for a landing. I will now take out my phone. That is my bike there. Very good bike. And uh so let’s have a look. Hopefully there will be a plane coming. So one one moment. I will just uh let the camera roll because this editing is sometimes also very annoying especially when you have only very few views. But thanks for everybody uh who’s watching. Uh here here’s the airport and then there is a big plane coming but that is not landing here. that is uh I have to turn off here the navigation that the plane that is that will be somewhere here in this area in the in the air is from Manchester to Abu Dhabi but at the moment and behind there’s another plane from Dublin from Dublin for for my my friends in uh from Ireland they will know this airport of course I know People from Dublin are watching here from Dublin or Dublin. I think they say Dublin, but that is here. The other plane is from Dublin to Abu Dhabi and the other one is from Manchester to Abu Dhabi. Yeah. So, here nothing coming to Cologne. Then there’s a plane nearby from Amsterdam to Venice. KM. No. Then on the other side in the air somewhere there is a flight from Frankfurt to Dublin. There’s no plane now. There’s now no plane on its way to Cologne. That is sad that also no start at the moment. It’s now uh Saturday a quarter to 11. It’s absolutely dead here. There’s no traffic. There’s no more air traffic here because uh yeah, I don’t want to start with at all, but our governments don’t want that we use planes anymore because they they are not good for the environment. I will not comment all this anymore and uh I can only say there’s absolutely nothing going on here. The lights are burning, but there’s no traffic here. No traffic at all. No, no landings, no starts. Also, here on this flight224.com, there’s nothing. There’s no plane. No. Yeah. Then I would say uh I’ll continue now with my bike a little bit. and check that again in 10 minutes. No, there’s really not much going on here. There are two people on the bike. There’s one guy on the bike and there’s another one with a blue jacket. And here’s my bike. Yeah, the only highlight is maybe that here now at this moment. Although I cannot see the plane there’s the uh Lufanza cargo 747 from Frankfurt to Miami. It’s now here somewhere behind the clouds and this plane will be landing in Miami in 9 hours 20 minutes. Yeah, I would also like to sit now in the plane to Miami and then later do board cruise on the Miami River, but uh I will do that another time. All right. I was just thinking maybe I should talk much more excited, but I cannot. That is the problem. I’m not excited at all about everything here. That’s why I’m talking like blah blah blah. But here now we are um on the side of the airport. There you can see the terminal two. where uh I’m every now and then. And there the blue jets are from Amazon Prime. Yeah. Here’s another another view of the airport. There’s the tower in the middle. Little in the middle. And then yeah, that is the remainings of some plane spotters probably here. This chair, this blue chair. And then here’s also the the warning that don’t use any drones. They are so parano paranoid now about the drones because some uh idiots are flying with the drones on the airports and then they stopped the whole air traffic. It happened also a few days ago in Brussels. Yeah, they should just shoot him down. But uh yeah, that is always that is so crazy. That is so crazy all Yeah. So this is a nice view here from the airport. I will check now again uh on on the internet if there will be one plane coming but I don’t think so. Yeah, that’s it. Thanks for watching. There’s a bicycle here. And uh on the 25th of March 2017, a biker was bicycle rider was killed here. That is a ghost bike uh to to remember him. And uh that’s very terrible. I must also be careful. I’m now not in the forest here anymore. The airport is here behind. I’m now here on this on this street. And that is not very good without a helmet. So I’m not sure if I should I think I will go back through the forest anyway. So always use a helmet when you ride a bike and be careful and uh the cars are stronger than the bike. Yeah, that is uh if I if I hit the jackpot, the Euro jackpot yesterday that someone won here in the area 58 million euros, then I’m jealous. But uh the day when I uh when I win the Euro jackpot, then uh you will probably uh see my video when I’m sitting in such a jet with some girls and then Or maybe not. Maybe then the the channel will be offline. No, I don’t think so. All right. At least we saw one plane and then there’s the next coming. Oh, now there’s another one coming.
