Looking to get a hybrid bike. I will be doing mostly city riding but also some light gravel and bike trails. Just want something that’s versatile and comfortable to ride.
Both options are within $100 of each other. Obviously very different frames with surly being steel (which I like). Specialized seems to have slightly better components though.
Surly – Microshift acolyte 8 speed. Avid BB5 Mechanical disc brakes.
Specialized – Microshift advent 9 speed. Tektro hydraulic disk brakes
