Welcome back! Today, we set off on an exhilarating York Cycling Adventure 2024, exploring York’s stunning cityscapes and serene countryside. Join us as we embark on a scenic journey along the Trans Pennine Bridleway from York to Selby before returning to the heart of York City centre. This adventure promises breathtaking views and iconic landmarks, making it a perfect day out for any cycling enthusiast!

As we ride to the outskirts of York, we’ll soak up the beautiful countryside before transitioning to the sights of the vibrant city of York. Our journey includes stops at some of York’s most famous landmarks, including the historic Clifford’s Tower, the picturesque Lendal Bridge and the magnificent York Minster! [Music] n [Music] hello and welcome back to another video slightly different to the usual uh so I’ve replaced my hiking boots and running Trainers for my road bike trainers and uh yeah another hobby of mine beautiful English night so I thought I’d come out on the bike tonight at the minute I’m taking you on this track around yor got to say actually absolutely beautiful uh it’s an area that I know well and the track that I’m on at the minute is a 10 m stretch that basically you can blast down hard L people on it nice smooth track and you can get some good speed in it so really enjoying it so far on this lovely evening uh but I will show you the superb sites of York as well as I cycle through the uh City Center and show you the best part which is the AR Minster which you would have seen on the the intro already but it is absolutely fantastic and absolutely superb Cathedral so definitely the Highlight as well let’s see how we go on [Music] look at this absolutely stunning doled light all the way down here very green absolutely love this this is perfect it’s the trans penine wear Route 65 between York and Selby as I say it’s a 10 Mile Stretch that you can uh quite easily get down especially this time or night it’s about 6:00 and very quiet get busy during the day but yeah absolutely stunning there we go soby 5 York 10 London 179 I’m not sure that’s quite accurate to be honest but yeah feels like it should be about 250 Mi I think to London but it’s definitely 10 m the Y so maybe it’s true who knows but yeah what absolutely stunning stunning evening as you can tell behind me and such a nice time of year to come back out again it’s uh yeah very much a spring summer riding for me a lot of trail running and uh running just generally on rows for the most of the winter just to keep fit but yeah absolutely love coming out to evenings like tonight yeah let’s head on back and Hammer it into York and I’ll show you some amazing sites around the city here we [Music] go absolutely beautiful I love evenings like this come on so I made it back to the bridge this is quite a cool Bridge as well make a little stop here yeah this is part of Bishop harp actually uh and there is a like a boat club that’s just further down there gorgeous restaurant as well yeah but nice place to stop and take uh 5 minutes before I head into the city yeah not many people out tonight so I’m uh making use of it really it’s uh it’s nice anyway we will head into town and show you some amazing sites some uh very very old school Heritage sites and uh the main one uh around well the streets of York and then into uh what is an absolutely gorgeous Cathedral at York Minster so yeah we’ll uh show you that as well should be fun right let’s get going [Music] this is the yor race course yeah lead you into into York nicely from this uh cycling route just around the back of it [Music] [Music] there a great tour [Music] spot yeah one of the main reasons for coming back the uh slightly longer way through York was for that absolutely amazing Bridge there which is absolutely gorgeous [Music] [Music] Che a little turn there be the traffic check out this awesome Bridge and this leads us directly to the Y Minster which is the best site as well coming all the way down here and you get to see that at the very end which is just stunning so we get through these lights look at this yeah you cannot beat that especially in the uh beautiful living light tonight as [Music] well yeah that’s quality yeah that is quite the site as you can see stunning [Music] Absol beautiful night to see it and they’re always doing work on it as well just try and keep it maintained so there obviously done a lot here on this side because that wasn’t there a couple of months ago during the day there’s some gorgeous uh cafes around here but look at these buildings here absolutely amazing you can see there I’m not sure how old these are but they are again absolutely staggering but yeah what an evening what set of [Music] buildings there nice view to end the video with yeah absolutely beautiful down [Music] here yeah so hopefully you enjoyed this video thanks so much for watching I really really do appreciate all the views and subscribers so thank you so much for all your support and hopefully you’ve enjoyed this one something a bit different for the channel anyway but uh yeah for the time being thanks again hopefully it won’t be too long until I’ll see you in the next one [Music] [Music] [Music]
