Morning everyone. Day nine. An early start this morning. Obviously clocks went back so that helped. But the uh that is the sort of marshes of Western Super. I’m going to show you where I camped. Hold on. So if I zoom in, if my gloves will let me. Okay. So can we see? All right. Now this is got the marshes here. Now, I had a little wild camp right down here at the very edge of the marshes with a lovely view across this bay. And what is nice over that way is you can see Cardiff and Newport and Barry over that side. See these little kind of That’s Cardiff there, I think, and Newport on the edge. Um, the nice thing is when over the last few days when I’ve been over in Wales, I’ve been looking back at England and looking at this coastline thinking like, “Oh my god, that looks like a long way away.” And it trying to picture it. It just looks so far away. Um, and you know, you have to sort of completely compartmentalize that, put that to the back of your brain and focus on the small task in front of you, like where’s the next thing I need to get to, where do I get to and I just kept piecing those pieces together and eventually after piecing one after the other after the other, um, I kind of forget about how far away something is and all of a sudden you’re there. So, here I am, day nine, looking back across there, thinking not how far away that looks, but thinking like, “Wow, I’ve done that. I’ve cycled all the way along that coastline, all the way around there, over that bridge, all the way down here.” And the sense of accomplishment is massive. So, yeah, part of this journey and part of all the ones I’ve done and in general really is just that learning to not focus on on the destination that’s so far away, not focusing on that target, just focusing on what’s right in front of you. Uh and yeah, without realizing it, you end up achieving something that is huge by conquering the small little tasks in front of you. So, um yeah, that’s one of my my life lessons on this journey. Um which is nice cuz you look back and you really do think like, wow, that’s I’ve done that. Anyway, um just come up a huge hill. Obviously, I was was down there this morning. I think I’ve cycled all the way along that front, all the way down to this corner and then up this massive hill. And now I’ve got to go down this massive hill in front of me. Uh, and that will take me into uh the main sort of seafront of Western Super Sou. So I think there’s a pier there if I remember rightly. It’s a long time I went there as a kid. Um, so let’s go to the seaside. Yay.
