Hey everyone, I had a convo with a shop owner and me being a cyclist came up. It was my second time in the store and he says “next time you come by bring your bike inside” rather than leaving it locked up outside. I thanked him and said I would.

So my question is, how many of you push your bike through grocery isles while shopping? Do you feel that we’re entitled to bring a bike inside a store because the general public is untrustworthy and our transport/property could be easily stolen? I don’t have a particularly high-end bike but I’ve put plenty of money into it and would be rather pissed if it were stolen, particularly since a bike has been stolen from my in the past.

Just looking for takes/opinions on etiquette here. Thanks
