I recently sold my Canyon Grail CF SL 7 and bought the new Canyon Grizl CF 7. I wanted to have the option to fit bigger tyres and I wanted a more bikepacking bike.
Today I did my first outing on it. It was only a 40 km ride, but I felt the difference straight away. It’s a much more comfortable bike (duh 🤪). It feels so smooth and the 1x-gearing is enough for me here in The Netherlands. I only did tarmac, but the 40 km ride didn’t feel like a 40 km ride. It felt much less. My back didn’t suffer. The handlebar is huge, but gave me the relaxed sensation. In a review someone said it’s a boring bike, because it’s predictable. To be fair; I really enjoyed it. I think I’m going to have a lot of fun with this thing!
The next stop is the Dutch forest!
