🥐 Join us as we take on the challenge of constructing the largest roundabout in Paris within Cities Skylines 2! Will our roundabout become a symbol of innovation or chaos? Tune in to find out!

Can we recreate the massive roundabout in Paris? Let’s measure 360 meters across for our three circles. The outer circle will be a two-lane Rd. for vehicles. The middle circle will be a pedestrian St. for locals and tourists. The inner circle will be a super wide, one-way, multi-lane Rd. to resemble the largest roundabout in Paris. To replicate the real-life version, let’s make sure 12 avenues intersect the circles. Of course, we need to remove all of the traffic lights and crosswalks for this to be a true roundabout. Now, widen some of the avenues and lay down surfaces to give this a realistic and historic look. Voila. With a few buildings from the French region asset pack, we have successfully recreated this iconic intersection. Good luck with the traffic.

  1. The only thing you need do differently is the priority rules since this traffic circle does priorité-a-droit, and it does look like the traffic is behaving as such

  2. Maybe the best argument to claim the Charles de Gaulle giratoire become a real modern roundabout (just change the priority from entring vehicles first to leaving vehicles first)

  3. Can’t get any more chaotic than it is now . I drove in Paris city centre in the late 80s and it took me 10 min to try and get off a roundabout I literally couldn’t get off it no one would let me move never again .walking or metro all the way now 😂

  4. After seeing this intersection many times and noticing it's never not in a state of hellish traffic I can say without a doubt, it sucks- But put the arc in the middle anyways- or a statue or something

  5. what's even worse, is that it's not a roundabout, but a one way circular lane with priority to the right, i.e. to incoming traffic. no need to say that it is way too often blocked

  6. This roundabout in Paris is special tho. I most roundabouts people flowing inside of it have the priority but in this one it's people who are entering it that have the priority. So the roundabout doesn't really flow that well
