📢 Anyone walking past Armada Way can’t help but spot a wide channel running down the middle of the scheme. When the whole project is finished next year, this will have water in it and will play an important role in keeping the plants and trees irrigated.

We’ve put together a bit of an explainer about the role of the rill or stream and why it’s important ➡ https://www.plymouth.gov.uk/news/role-rill-or-stream

And we spoke to Maria Garcia, assistant site manager from LARC, in the video 🎥

[Music] The rail is a water features that go all the way through. We have three zones, one one, two, and three. And it will get trickling water all the way down and have reed beds at the end. So the water will both purify through the reed beds that go on top and go through that. You can see there’s connecting pipe over there. So it’s connected every through every separation. There’s a walkway and it will go under that. The stones are recycled from all the way of city center and everyone different has a design. So when the water runs over it after they purify the reed beds then they’ll have different kind of views and designs and when the lights will be on there will be a lot of light effect and then it will run all the way going through zone one two and three.
