got this 1988 (87?) Rockhopper at the end of last summer for free from a friend, it needed a bit of TLC but I’ve been learning how to fix/improve things as they come! using her as a commuter bike and my quality of life has skyrocketed since getting everything all up and running! probably going to do a full drivetrain upgrade at some point this winter because one of the screws holding the 3 speed crank together backed out and caught on the frame when I was pedaling when I first got the bike, so the lowest gear is bent out of shape and it’s effectively a 2 speed up front because I don’t have the tools yet. this bike is probably 35 pounds?? apparently that’s heavy the more I learn about bikes, it’s all training weight 🔥🔥🔥
