should you drive for a local Amazon DSP with the upcoming seasonal holidays coming up if you absolutely need a job of course then you have no other choice and this could be a great opportunity for you just to get some income to put food on the table or buy some extra gift for your kids for everyone else that’s looking to just make some extra money I advise you to avoid this at all cost if anything else do Amazon Flex which is different than working for a local delivery service partner or DSP one of the main reasons is because local dsps have about 150% turnover rate which means odds are you will be working 6 days a week minimum during the holidays even though you’ll be making the holiday incentive that is paid to the dsps by Amazon to be paid to you and most dsps actually don’t carry Insurance in addition to being monitored all the time I would rather just drive my car on the flex app

  1. Don’t do it! You’ll slave away for shitty pay! Heed these words!!! THAT FANTASTIC PLUS BONUS YOUR DSP GETS FROM YOUR HARD WORK OF $15,000 A WEEK!! THEY KEEP FOR THEMSELVES! You heard that right! No raises, no holiday pay, no overtime! No recognition! Imagine making $700,000 a year in just a bonus from your hard working employees and being greedy as fuck! and you have the audacity to hire new people at the same rate as your employees that have been there for two years! Ask me how I know! FUCK DSP OWNERS!

  2. I can only imagine what a fucking nightmare that job is with 300 packages and the dumb fucks in the US half the time not clearly displaying their house numbers.

  3. I can confirm that the turnover rate is 150% i use to work for a dsp. The only good routes are suburban/rural areas which I did because the other drivers were afraid when it got dark being out there.

  4. I’ve been doing Amazon Flex part-time for 4 1/2 years and over the summer I decided to try a DSP and I only made it three months. Being told to pee in a jar in the back of the van and not being allowed to take breaks to eat in 10 hours was a no go for me. I know there’s way better DSPs out there though, I just got a bad one

  5. I ain’t gonna lie, I applied to do this job and recently finished all 3 days of training and had my first route of 95 stops on day 3. After I finished that day I was like yeah nah this is not for me.

  6. I applied for my own DSP never heard anything back and came to find out Amazon took that information and said I was a driver in their system…. They have some serious issues at Amazon

  7. Dsp is terrible they basically third party employees they receive no benefits, bi weekly pay, and the managers and owners can be very ratchets and unprofessional

  8. My dsp pays 26.50 and the most I’ve seen on my screen was 260 but it was because 25% of the houses had 5-10 packages. But for my route it’s a 1.5-2hr drive out to the route and it’s a tourist spot and it’s 1 way both ways so traffic is what you’re stuck in for most of your shift 😂
