[Music] [Music] [Applause] right in the position he wants to be in. He hit the ball a long way further down and now here we go. It’s time for Julian to go and pulled wants to go with him. It’s Alfalip to start the finale. start the party. The fireworks are exploding at the Amsel Gold Race. Adafil looking good and it’s the former world champion with the current man in the rainbow bands who’ve opened up a gap. 47 1/2 km to go they can only try and chase now Adam. It’s Bulgato and Philip with 47 km to go. There is a gap. It’s not the biggest yet. It’s 7 seconds. Heat. Heat. [Applause] Pugacha onto the Kber is doing his thing. He’s leaving Adafil behind. All the talk of a toeto-toe battle. It’s Pugato on his own as he invariably is. And while we might be looking for weaknesses, we might be looking for things that aren’t going right. The gap’s going the right way from Adam. Tulatcha is doing what Patcha does. This is seated as well, Rob. You know, you could see it visible on his face the way that he was pulling on the handlebars. This was an attack. This was an effort. This was an effort to string that pelon to get that gap even bigger. Time for Gacha’s gap growing. 19 seconds now. They can still see him, but it’s a mightily steep road. Yes, 8% average, 17% maximum. The ears of Bosway here. [Music] And it’s over half a minute now for the world [Music] champion. In fact, at 28 km to go when he won it 2 years ago, 40ks to go. Just under him, he’s already alone. But Bugattacha will have it all programmed into that computer in front of him. We’ll have the listed points on the paper on the stem as well. He knows where he is. He certainly knows what he’s doing and he’s doing it again. 1.7 km long the average a little kinder this time on the [Music] legs. And this now is one of the hardest, nastiest left turns in cycling because it takes you all the way to the foot of the steepest road in the Netherlands. The curtain bed goes up to 22% maximum. [Music] Mr. Bugacha, the world champion, he’s at it again. Look at body language. Look at the shoulders starting to go a little bit more. A little climb where he can hold that tempo. Just pushing on that little bit more. You can visibly see where he’s pushing more than what he’s going when he’s going easier. Almost. 34 seconds now. Another five added to it just from that one climb. [Music] [Music] The gunar is coming to the base of the calber and this is where it hits you. First the wall of noise left and right. the further the fans and everything, but then the gradient as well. It really ups towards the start with just 20 seconds now. That goes to 19. We might have a race on our hands on the cow. 22 km to go now then. Is he out of gas here? Is he riding control? What’s happening, Adam? They could start to see him again at 16 now. [Music] Today conserving 181 17 seconds. It’s the smallest the gap’s been since he attacked. As I finish the phrase again, it drops to 16. So, world champion Taja with 13 seconds. We’re on to the final small lap now of a brilliant. I’m still cold race. 20ks ago, Adam, it looked more or less done and dusted. Usual story going away. Nobody could follow, but there might just be something in it today. There’s something in the air, isn’t there, Rob? It doesn’t seem like this is just done yet. Tell even said in his interview, “This has been a long season already. Not in terms of race days, but in from how long he’s been going from. It’s a roar from the fans as the Rainbow Jersey comes around the corner. 1.1 km, 5.4% 4% average, the steepest gradient right at the top of 8%. It’s a completely different scenario this for Pagatra as well in terms of, you know, the World Championships is probably the only time we’ve seen him out front like this and almost get caught. He looked to have found his legs in that, but this feels a lot closer. This feels a lot more tense. That gap looks to be going [Music] out. It’s 24 seconds for Pancho. Even the pool and skin laws are still doing their best to work together. 12 seconds for Bugga ahead of Nepal and Ska. They can see him. It’s not far off the road now. Almost every vehicle has been pulled out. There’s a look around and are we on for another shocking, surprising, heartstoppping finale at the Amstel Gold Race? [Music] gritting those teeth and the rainbow bands. Very rarely do we see him suffering, but he’s being pushed all the way here. It’s 9 10 seconds. It’s hovering. The wind is howling out there. You can see that, Adam. Adam, I have never seen that April Gacha. Look around, look behind him so often because I is on the way. Ska who launched the counterattack to start with is there as well, but it’s Bacha who’s still pumping away on those pedals for now. [Music] catch Bacha and they try to go straight past him. It’s Ignore who’s there. Ski Moza as well and they’re about to roar down the hill in a few minutes time into the cowbird. It’s now Paul Gacher who’s going to react just to be at the slipstream. What a race we are [Applause] seeing. It’s Matias Skeza from lead from Sudal Quickstep Gacha the man from UA Emirates. You’ve got Skeza in here. Always a man who’s had potential. You’ve got the Olympic champion. You have the world champion. What a trio. What a race. And it’s still to be played out for victory. Skos are doing a perfect job as well. You know, Olympic champ, world champ. Let’s put the pressure on them, too. If they want to go Manoy Mano, let’s put the pressure on him. Remco, rightly so, say, “No, you’re here.” Trying to get him to come through, trying to get him to share the work. He’s there for a reason, and that’s cuz he’s got the legs. But Remco and Tad, they’re going to be watching each other. And Shel Moer is going to try and benefit from those two just playing cat and mouse a little bit. Just less than 4 km to the foot of the car now. That final turn, an iconic climb now returns to its rightful place. It’s the Calbed. The final climb in the Amstel gold. And we have three icons themselves leading the way up. It’s Ian Nepal in the gold helmet. The rainbow jersey. He’s never been caught before like this when he’s been out on the attack. And Ska, the man who instigated the catching, sits at the back as the Joker as everybody looks at the man with the Olympic crown and the top rider in the world. Now it’s Patcha behind is going to go. It’s in the pool at the front in the pool still there. Patcha trying to come around. A reminder that Patcha went with 42ks to go, but this time he was caught. He’s now gaining. He’s gaining. It’s in the pool on the left hand side. It’s Skillmore coming around. They’re all coming together. They do. And it’s Skillmore who’s done it. Matias Skilmore beating the Olympic champion and the world champion.

  1. Tadej mind games are insane. That following at the same pace and movement and sitting right before the other rider checks on you. Mind control. Pogi plays with your mind

  2. [Cycle (Psycho) Sauce (SOS)]

Caucasions or people of white skin complexion is not abused with racism, prejudice and domestic violence as African American men. Especially the men who commutes for long distances within a time frame. (Ex: 10miles = 20-25min.)

  4. Tadej should have won this. The two snuck up on him. They were riding in his blind spot at the end because they probably studied him and know that he always looks back to his right. He didn't see them right behind him. Had he saw them he would've picked it up and won. Very sneaky.

  5. Why are we standing around acting like Tadje is not doping. Before anyone say anything about testing, lance passed over 500 test too. He still never got caught, he got snitched on.

  6. Tadej Pogačar is simply a machine. He is a generational talent and by the time he is 35 y.o., he will be widely recognized as the greatest cyclist of all time.

  7. It was a tremendous error to follow Alaphilippe so early, but Tadej is Tadej and we enjoy him that way. He was by far the strongest of the race. One of the best racedays in 2025.
