Door ran moy canal. Good morning my channel here from Ostraa Hotel Ariel. Uh I just cracked open the window here. It’s a little bit after 6:00 a.m. and the wonderful smell of people smoking cigarettes outside is wafting into the room. Great way to wake up here. Really helps my uh chest and sinus cold here that I’m suffering from. In any case, uh we’re going to try to make the push today from Ostraa to Olamox. Uh yesterday was uh St. Sirill and Methodius holiday. Uh and today is Yan Hush holiday. Uh which is going to make it more difficult to find places that are open uh to find water and food along the way. Also, this uh hotel dormatory place here doesn’t serve any breakfast. Uh I think the only place that’s going to be open is up on the uh main freeway. There’s McDonald that’s open at 6:00 a.m. So, it looks like I might be having McDonald’s for breakfast. Hopefully there might be a ladle or a Alberts over there as well or I might be able to get some more water and then we’ll start making our way uh south west to Olivots Olamoki uh for today. Come join us for the adventure. Very interesting night here at the Flop House Hotel. Cast of interesting characters coming in and out. Uh they buzz you in and out of the reception area to come into the place. And uh anyhow, here’s the old name of the hotel, Yarina Centrum Okubani. The new name is the Hoteli Doom Hotel House, Ariel. So uh yeah, it was a overpriced dorm room. Last minute uh booking here. Tonight we’re going to Oluk. Uh now we’re on a search for some breakfast here. It’s 8:00 a.m. No breakfast included here. Uh, everything’s closed pretty much cuz it’s a holiday. Uh, I noticed that there is a 24-hour McDonald’s up on the main highway. So, we’ll be getting McDonald’s for breakfast. Definitely got to get some water. And we’re going to make a push here. 100 kilometers to Ola Muk. Chowo Chow. Interesting hotel. Kind of reminded me half of college and half of watching the movie The Blues Brothers where they were staying at. Got my cheese whiz boy. Straa is just a rough looking town, man. Rough and tough, baby. And I know I’m in the Ostraa Centrum here. Uh, but uh I guess I’ve been a little uh molly coddled my little journey across the tourist towns in Poland there. Welcome to a real industrial city here. Some rough and tough looking sections. All right, we’re heading off to the main freeway here. About two miles for Breakfast of Champions at McDonald’s. [Music] Traffic is light. That’ll be in our favor today. I noticed IKEA across the parking lot, but their uh their restaurant doesn’t open till 9:30 in the morning and no guarantee it’s open today on a weekend holiday. So, McDonald’s it is. Locked up the bike here since we’re in uh Ora, the rough and tough Ostraa. She see open 6:00. Okay, we’re open. [Music] [Music] Go down. Okay. No self-service kiosk. I’ll have to figure out how to how to do it here. With a little bit of deliberation, uh my check paid off here. I was able to get the Velki Sedany, the big breakfast. McDonald big breakfast. I said, “Yeah, yeah. Get me the Bichko Slinko Seir Bramora Cafe. They knew what I would talk about. The big breakfast. So, here we go. 20 Chick Corona. Not bad. And then I also got a big orange juice. Then we’ll be looking somewhere. There’s got to be a little gas station here cuz we’re right next to the freeway. See if we can get ourselves a Veloda and then start hitting the road here. It’s late here. Here we go. We got our big breakfast. Two English muffins, two sausage, some sear, some kind of ham or bacon or something in there, some cheese, coffee americano, orange juice, and a hash brown bumbor. Okay. No hooch. Can’t go wrong with a little McDonald’s choke and puke breakfast in the morning. Since it’s not so busy, let’s see if I can struggle with the manager here to get her to give me a half a liter of cold water so I can fill up my camel back here. We’ll see if she’ll oblige. All right, this should be fun. Uh buoy uh vod uh lethal person. [Music] Hopefully they won’t try to charge me for the cup we just pour it in. We shall see. [Music] Yeah. [Music] It’s qu [Music] Diggy chow chow. Okay. She was going to try to pour the old tap water. I’m like if I wanted tap water, I could have done it at the hotel room. I want the filtered water. Anyway, she was super cool. And I get to practice my uh very very robust check language skills. Oh, look at the size of that kicki. Oh my god, that thing is like the size of a of a small dog. That thing is huge. All right, we got to go outside. Look at that quickly. Hopefully he didn’t run away. [Music] [Applause] Felic monstrous. That thing was the biggest rabbit I’ve seen in my life. We’re officially back on the Eurova for path right here in Ora. And it’s 9:00. And you know what time that is? That’s right. It’s music parody trivia contest time. The time where I get to sing whatever song’s in my music shuffle playing right now. I make an impromptu Danny slant uh uh parody song about it and you guess the original artist song title in the comments. All right, here we go. Now, now my woman from Ora. She’s really tough. My woman from Ora says, “If I’m going to ride my bike here, it better get used to being rough.” Now she says, “Get on your bike.” My woman from Ora. [Music] She likes who I ride my bike. My woman from Ora. She says she wishes you would subscribe and drop me a like. My woman from Ora. my woman from Ora. Okay, you know the drill. Uh, make sure you write down the original artist, original song title in the comments for the music trivia parody song Danny Slant contest. And if you’re enjoying the content of the Danny Slant channel, remember to hit that subscribe button, hit the bell notifications, leave a like, leave a comment. It all helps with the YouTube algorithm and allows me to continue bringing you the fantabulous content of the Danny Slant channel. Go Ronaldo. Yeah, they were like, “Who’s that cuckoo?” [Applause] [Music] Not only are we on the URL 4 planned route, but this is a Czech Republic bike route. Ah, so we will just follow along with all the people out here this morning happily bicycling along. Ciao chiao oava. Still happy on a paved path. Wonder how many more kilome we’re going to get out of this. I think at some point, as it usually does, it dumps you off onto some freeway, but I checked ahead of time. It looks like uh any freeways that we’re going to get significantly south are three-digit uh highways, which are really safe. Oh, look at whoever’s there. Hey, Mr. Stork. Stroke. I’ll give you a puck. [Music] Got some people camping along the river. Get my van. Goodbye. [Music] [Music] Okay. And this is where our paved path. Oh, I thought we were gonna get dumped on that highway. I was gonna just say this is where a paved path ends and we got to go on the highway, but lookie lookie. Aha, we got lucky. Okay, we’re in village of Proco Vitz. Of course, if you go back that way, that’s back to Kov. That was several days ago. And if you go this way, that’s Vin. That’s Vienna. We’re not going quite that far. We’re gonna stop one day shy of Vin. We’re going to Br. So that’s a couple days ride from here. So uh yeah, cute sign. Let’s keep on pedaling on the Euro 4 Kristoff. Okay, Kristoff. Maybe he’s the blessed patron saint of the Euro 4, keeping me safe and secure. [Applause] Woohoo! [Applause] Okay. I know duck duckes. Ready? [Music] Here we got the Czech code of arms. Bohemia, Moravia, Celestia, and Bohemia repeated again. That fourth coat that wasn’t repeated. They used to be Slovenka or Slovakia, not Slovenka, Slovakia. But then uh when Slovakia became independent, they just copied over the fourth one to maintain the order of the code of arms. So they just gave extra copy to uh Bohemia. But uh we are Moravski Moravians. All right. This is super beautiful. Occasional car, but mostly shaded bike path, EV4 riding, [Music] and the occasion motorcycle. [Music] Albert Triki. Now we’ll be turning left to uh start 22 km. Make sure there’s no traffic. Slide across here. Okay, so today’s holiday. It’s also Sunday, so all the uh Prabinis are closed. Luckily, I saw a little hush pota here on the side of the road. I saw a guy pop out and I popped in and uh what’s your name? What’s up? Hey, he he hit me. Got me some water for my camel back. Nice little sports drink here. People coming in. So, uh yeah, luckily for him, he saved me here. Otherwise, I was burning up and nothing to drink here. Got a sports drink. Got a little voda. Going to make our way. And we’re in the village of uh and what’s the name of your place? Uh now visiting. Okay. So if you need you need a sports drink or you need a peo or sliva then uh you get one here. Mhm. Okay. So and remember if you’re enjoying the content of the Danny Slant channel, make sure to hit the subscribe button, hit the bell notifications, leave a like, leave a comment. uh helps with the YouTube algorithm, allows me to continue bringing you the content of Danny Slant. All right, chowo chowo for now. Off to uh Olukamoki. That’s okay. M okay uh I’m off to uh that’s my takup. Okay, I’m on my way. My new friends. Okay, come on video for now. Okay, thanks for watching. That’s me. Enjoy that if you get bored. Nay football. YouTube Danny Slant. Thank you so much. Yeah. Enjoy that for about for about the Booty and then you can change it. Wait till I go though. Okay. Ciao. See you later. Thank you. Okay. Making new friends here at the Hush. You making them left them watching what they think. Let’s see if my bike’s still out here. Okay. All right. Keep that in mind. Always the Hush is going to be open even on the holiday. get some get some stuff so I can remember where I got the sports drink in the water. And that’s a good little uh hack. I got to keep that in my mind. Yeah. Yeah. Grocery stores and gas stations going to be closed on Sunday. But uh you’re a husha. Your pubs are going to be open especially now. It’s late morning. It’s Saturday after 11:00. So good chance to fill up. Even though I don’t like drinking the the tap water, but beggars can’t be choosers. All right, let’s keep making our mileage. [Music] Okay. No choo choo. May lock. May pose block. Open the gate. Pro some. Come on. Come on. Bring some fro. [Music] We’re all going to just take a little break here. I don’t know what we’re waiting on. Oh, I see. I would have stupidly stepped out onto those tracks and this is what would have happened. The express train would have came by. and I would have been squished like a mushka. Patience is a virtue. Okay. 60 m bicycle path. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, good. No traffic for a little while. I got to take a mental break. Okay, Olamuki Cry. We are in Olamuki Cry. That means we’re getting into the territory of Voltz. That means we’re getting closer. I think we’re a little bit more than halfway, just barely halfway to the city, but we’re making progress on the uh Eurova 4 uh Jesuit bike route bid number five. And other than that, bicyclist just passed me. There’s been a car or bike pass me in 30 minutes. It’s been very quiet and peaceful the way I like it. Bike path runs right along the main freeway. separate little thing here. And uh now we got some hang gliders here coming off the side of the cliff here. It’s real breezy. [Music] We’re about twothirds of the way there. Okay, 3:30. It’s really hot out. It’s about 88 degrees now. Slowing me down. Keep pedaling. I needed some stood cuz I’m hot. I stopped at the restaurant say Texas. Texas. Texas. And what uh what’s uh you uh uh the name So we stopped here. It’s the rest stop, the Texas rest stop. Thank goodness everything else is closed. You are open. You are savior. Thank you very much. Now I go to pedaling on hot. Thank you. Byebye. Chowo chiao. Thank goodness that the restaurant hos are open today on the holiday. I was down to my last uh half a liter of emergency water. I always take a liter and a half with me just in case, but it’s so hot. I’m drinking so much and there’s nothing open. Not since the break I had at uh 11:00. That’s 5 hours later. So, uh when I saw this, it was from the tap, but it was cold. So, I don’t care at this point. Water’s water. Okay. So, this is the Mont Texas Buhavani Jaba. We are in the city of I don’t even remember. We’re outside of Olamok about 10 milesi. I’ll look it up and post it in the graphic when I edit the video. Okay, let’s keep pedaling. Freaking not too hot today. Welcome to Ola. All right. Uh, according to this, if I stay on Highway 437, it’s only 15 km. Yeah. Or I turn right and take the super freeway. Can’t do that. Uh, I prefer not to do either one of these, the 437 north or the superighway. Maybe there’s got to be some bike path option somewhere when we get past this interchange and re-examine the old bike bike options. Okay, 7 km to Olamok. That’s for tonight. We’re almost there. Then Zitra stol a 101 km to Bruno. Another grueling day. Although it’s supposed to rain. That would make it even worse than hot sun rain. Okay, it’s 5:00. Let’s get to our hotel. Get to get cleaned up. I’m starving. They build the bicycles a little differently in the Czech Republic, don’t they? They’re a little sturdier. Sportier, too. Huh. Tak. After staying at that uh ship hole last night, tonight I’m staying someplace decent. Clarion. I think it’s the tallest building in Olak. Includes breakfast. And it’s half the price of what I paid last night cuz they gouged me last night. I paid €154 for that. Unbelievable. But no breakfast. I’m starving. I’m tired. I’m hot. Where am I at? 62 uh almost 63 mi here. We’ll do the stats when we get up in room. I got a reservation. Let me get in there. We’re directly uh city centrum here. There’s the trains. Matter of fact, I think when we took the bus to Ukraine, when they made the stop at all once Oh, there it is. across the street. Yep. Yep. I knew the plan. I remember seeing the plan. Pull right in. And there’s that big bus stop. That’s Reio Jet. Another super friendly bus driver when you try to bring your bike box on. Always good for an argument. Okay, let’s get in there. It’s 5:35. We didn’t exactly make good time, but very little on the freeway. Little bit. I struggled there. Maybe 5 miles. And then uh once we got closer to city center was completely dedicated bike path. All the other places were bike path sticking right on Eurovella 4 almost the entire way. It was a decent ride. Just not a decent breakfast and tough water options cuz of the holiday and the weekend all the way. All right, let’s get inside. Let’s get the into our new room for the evening. Okay, I’m room 504 tonight here at the Clarion in Olamok and let’s see what uh basically uh $96 gets you. Hell, that’s 75% of what I paid last night. I’m still got the old school uh job here, huh? Okay. Closet. Bathroom. Where’s the light switch, buddy? Of course. Got to stick your card in the thing to get your lights to work. There we go. Toilet, sink, molly shower, and tub. Okay. Closet. Two twin beds, little sitting desk television. Oh, fancymancy bottle bottle. Glass water. Mhm. Uh, matoni. Matoni. Some kind of fancy schmancy Italian bottled water. Okay, we’re going to crack that open in a moment. Drink that up on the fifth floor. What kind of view do I got? A view of the rooftop of the other building next door. That’s okay. Oh, a little chocolate on the pillow. I’ll get one extra one. Okay, we made it. Let’s do our stats. 62.99 miles. Woo! 6 hours 57 minutes 44 seconds. Top average speed 9.04 milesPH. Max speed 28.60. That’s pretty fast on one of those downhills. 655 Eastern European time. 555 Central. That’s where we’re at now. Total distance. Got to deduct the Baltic trip. That’s 863. Total time 9136. And back to the 62.99. All right, let’s get cleaned up and let’s get some food. Less than uh 50 yards from the hotel is Albert. Albert’s grocery store. Albert, sell me some groceries today. And they’re open. Oh, and they got uh Chaina Jimmer. They got some nice people over there. Nice gypsy people waving at me. Say hello. Get some Jim. There we go. All right, we’re going to put the camera away cuz uh I don’t trust the gypos here. I don’t feel like fighting after spending 12 hours riding my bike. Yeah, the police are already there, so uh that makes me feel a little better. Anyhow, uh uh other than the little pockets of crap that you’re going to get in any city of your jippos, uh yeah, this is a lot safer than Ostraa here. And on the map they said there is a uh little uh Vietnamese restaurant right here. So certainly had all kinds of Polish and Ukrainian and Czech food. Maybe time for something a little different for tonight’s dinner. Then I’ll hit the Albert grocery store, get some Voda, maybe something else special to snack on tonight and get a good long rest here. Okay, here’s our restaurant here. Non nonla non rest. All right, we’ll try them out for sure. My YouTube channel. Uh, why not? Yeah. Okay. So, come on over and tell us uh tell us what what’s the name of the restaurant? Uh, Nonla restaurant. Donla restaurant. Yeah. Okay. And where are we? Uh, we are on in in Ol in Olot. In Czech Republic. Instagram. So I said, “I’ve had plenty of Czech food on this trip. Let’s try to get some Vietnamese food.” I saw it online. You got your partner right over here. She says, “Okay, quit yapping. You want to be on YouTube?” Yeah. Say hoy hoy. Say hoy ho. Ho ho. Okay. Thank you. Go hooch. Okay. So you brought a little Sriracha. Got some Vietnamese noodles. Almost looks like pai. I wonder if he made pai instead of uh the Vietnamese. But either case, whatever it is, I’m eating it. I’m starving like Lee Marvin. Okay. Dober hooch. [Music] [Music] Mhm. That’s good. Okay, so the noodles were excellent. I put a little too much Sriracha. My eyes are running. I’m crying. I’m crying cuz I’m sad that I’m leaving the nice people. But also, it’s the Sriracha. And uh got a little Fanta that of course I got him to subscribe. Let me see you. Okay. Right. Wait. Let me get subscri subscribed. Okay. Bear. Bring it up. Boom. All right. You too is subscribe. Get your Boom. We got two new subscribers. and uh it’s going to be 205. Okay. Okay. Okay. Let me turn the camera off of this. That’s all I need is a worldwide viewers to grab my credit card and go at a spending studio. They would I don’t have much credit left after this trip. Then things have been adding up. I try to keep it cheap, but uh last night I was in uh uh Ostraa. There was some concert or something. So all the hotels were five times the normal price. It was crazy. I’m like I’m like, “Okay.” They’re like, “Well, you don’t have to stay here.” I’m like I’m like, “Well, what am I going to do? Sleep in the bushes.” When I was a little younger, we would, but Okay, let me get my credit card. We’ll pay. We’ll say bye. All right. Say cha for now. Goodbye, guys. Actually, this is good. This is good to good. Okay. So, on that note, well, you know, I might get some ice cream on the way home. We We’ll add that later. I was going to say my linky YouTuber. I’m I’m a I’m a Mishka. I’m the little mouse of the internet. That’s not my Okay. So, uh I just tried to pay for dinner here and they were saying no, you’re too cool that uh they want to be the 4,0001 or 4,0002nd subscribers and they said your money’s no good here. So, how do you like that? That’s why I’m going to leave the Hollywood and come here because everyone thinks I’m cool here. At home, they’re like they give me the fatka. Fatka. Yes. Okay. It’s been a really great chat with you guys. Remember, if you’re ever in Oluk and you want a great dinner, Vietnamese dinner, come visit for sure. It was really good. And uh not too much Sriracha. That’s You got to take care of your own. I squirted too much on her. All right, on that note, have a great night. Uh chow chow. Bye. [Music] So, I think that was pretty darn cool that they comped the dinner there just cuz I was yapping to them and talking about how I wanted to go to a good place and how great the food was, which it really was. Starting to blow up in the YouTube world there when you’re getting some free comp dinners, huh? And unfortunately, it’s 2 minutes to 8 and the Jimmergelina lady looks like she closed up shop. This is where all the poop heads were hanging out. Yep, she closed up. So, uh, we’re just going to go inside Albertson’s here and get ourselves a little, uh, bod and banana and maybe some chocolate here. Yeah, there’s still three nibble four of them hanging out out there. That’s too bad. I kind of wanted that ice cream. This is what Moyanna wants for the house. She wants to see how small is going to stop. Okay, let’s get the banana and the voda. [Music] We’ll have bananas at tomorrow’s breakfast buffet, but I need one now tonight for the potassium. Okay. [Music] That’ll work. Getting the banana. And let’s get a liter and a half of boda. [Music] Okay, I was able to get a Veliva, a banana, and a Oreo cookie ice cream sandwich. But I really wanted the Toena Jimina. I would have got the mala the small the small and then you get the this one nita that’s the mixed mandarinka mandarin and binoca that would have been your mix I like pistachio novi as well okay only got a couple blocks up to the hotel as the sun is starting to go down and even though I feel pretty safe here in this city ah I am of the firm belief that it’s never a good idea to be wandering around uh after dark. Mostly because uh yeah, I live in Venice Beach and that’s kind of how we’ve gotten accustomed certainly over the last 10 years. Wasn’t always that way. Used to go everywhere at night, all days, 24/7, walk, ride my bike everywhere. Never worried about anything. Times change. Okay, so from the streets of Stoome Olamok City Central, it’s Danny Slant saying chowo chow for now. Danny is a heist bicycle touring holidays, bike tracking and travel adventures. He protects his speech neighbor from all the army techos. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]

  2. Hah. I used to live in both of these towns! If I knew you were going there, I would have given you tips for stuff to see and do. Almost no tourists or travelers ever go to Ostrava… nice seeing someone visit Ostrava! 🌋

  3. 👍Very nice report. This time I might guess the artist and the song. Deep Purple – My Women from Tokyo?
Pubs are great. One guest mentioned Olomouc tvaruzky. It's a Czech specialty, protected by a patent. I'm looking forward to the next video.

  4. Hello Danny, again the video was very nice and interesting, the journey was also challenging on a bike for such a distance – great.😊👍🚴‍♂
