Perfect example of how to have a seized bottom bracket that is hard to remove a few years down the line. Grease or anti seize the threads first. Cowboy work here….

If the main body and cup are made of
aluminum or steel. Apply grease to the main body and cup.
If the main body and cup are made of plastic. Do not apply grease to the main body or cup.
