Repost as my last post omitted the pictures, sorry!

Spent the first two weeks of September touring Kyushu and Shikoku with a couple buddies. Japan is the quintessential bike tour location for so many reasons: quiet mountain roads, culture, incredibly safe, bike friendly, weather, affordable, scenic, amazing food, convenience and pavement everywhere you want to go.
In two weeks we travelled about 750kms, from Fukuoka to Kochi. We were spoiled with quiet roads, warm hospitality and adventure around every corner.
The island of Kyushu is considerably busier than Shikoku, but offers beautiful coastlines, volcanoes and more convenience. Shikoku is more remote, mountain-filled and outdoor oriented. But you will not be disappointed with either.
For those who may be interested, we made a YouTube channel here (including GPX links):

In the series we discuss the use of Rinko bags for travel in Japan, routing options and most importantly, what are the best beers to enjoy along the way.
Happy trails!
