A derby? 60+ miles apart. We’re both in Lincolnshire,, so yes a Lincolnshire Derby 😉 Looking at the league table odds on Scunthorpe win, though as we know it’s never that easy. Especially in a “derby” game lol

No Sellars-Fleming in the squad, having just had his loan extended by 3 months. He’s been knocking on the door to start as well with his performances of late.

First half wasn’t great from either team in all fairness. Though I will say, how effective were John-Lewis and Mills at respective ends of the pitch for Boston. Caused us all sorts of problems up top and Mills loves to attack the ball. At times as well we were our own worst enemy. Poor passing, not reading each others play and dare I say being sucked into Bostons style of play.
On a pitch that looked great to keep the ball at feet and with pace.

Second half needed to be better and we started well. A lapse of concentration at the back after we put the ball out. Quickly taken throw by Carson catching us out, Donnelly in space forced Watson into a save the ball falling kindly for John-Lewis 1-0. As if we didn’t have enough to do 🙄 Boston spurned some great chances, would we get a chance? We stuck to the task in hand though pushing forward against a tiring Boston team. Eventually leading to Whitehall being hauled over in the box. Penalty!! Lovett straight to the back of the net looking at his notes for the penalty taker. I’m guessing he was looking for Whitehall on his notes. Up steps Roberts and fires the ball into the back of the net. With momentum on our side, we looked like we’d get a second. It never happened, even with 11 mins added time. Chances were missed by both teams, Boston having a couple at the end.

Wasn’t the greatest game to watch, though with a point on the road, have to be happy with that in the end.
