these are the cheapest bikes on Amazon and we’re going to see how far we can ride them across the aisle of white I need another gear give me one that will do but what will break first our bikes or us I’ve haded this bike mate let’s have a look at them so we’re on the a of white and we’re taking the cheapest bikes on Amazon genuinely the cheapest bikes you can buy these are the wising 20in folding bikes and I don’t love them it’s a seven speed and it’s got a bell and it folds on purpose on purpose there’s not much more to say about that well you talk about there’s loads more to say about would you like to talk about the build quality I’d love to talk about every single aspect of it you a chief bike mechanic for these I was I had to get them out of the box first what did you say they were W wi winsing winsing you not heard of it no is this a brand I should know well they provide the cheapest bikes on Amazon and these were £99 £99 99 look at this look that’s meant to do that the issue isn’t that they don’t really fit the issue isn’t that it’s got these tiny little wheels the issue is with the build quality of these this one is already broken this was broken when it came out of the box did you enjoy building this last night no I’m trying I’m trying to adjust things but everything’s like just rounding out or falling apart or snapping I’ve only just got out of the box my bike already has duct tape on it this whole thing is made of just the finest cheese maybe a Bree Philadelphia Philadelphia the brakes are definitely made of Philadelphia yours is quite good actually and which mine one didn’t come with instructions and it was missing a bolt and it was missing a bolt for this like yours is all nice and we rode it couple hundred yards up this road to here I was blowing they’re genuinely quite concerning like the no Brand Tires the brakes that don’t do anything your handlebars don’t tighten up have you noticed that yet really I thought it’d be funny to tell you now right before we start that’s not funny if you give it a lot it’s okay now but if you give it like that it just spins out what but my brakes don’t work so we’re sort of like you know your yours is actually probably the more dangerous one actual corrosion in there that’s all rust and stuff isn’t it this is brand new this is brand old this cracked paint with orange coming out of it that can only be rust or maybe the whole thing’s made of wood I don’t think this is a case now of whether we’re finding out whether these are good bikes we’re now finding out how bad they are how far can we get this isn’t innocent until proven guilty this is guilty until proven innocent okay it’s we’ve put it straight in jail and now we’re appealing the decision they’re appealing and we’re getting the chair ready do you like this look off for right in case you forget put your left foot on there then look at that action this is the best bit about it oh that’s good okay right we we’ve started the appeal process this bike’s got two Bells I can only use the rear brake on this bike no matter how much I tried to adjust it it just would not reset I can use the front brake but only once and then I must get off and manually reset it would you like to demo that no I’m going to save my one break for you when you need it then have to get out and reset it and jiggle it around and stuff it’s long right there’s four things that can break on this trip me and you and these two bikes which one’s going to go first should we um should we go so we set off and almost instantly ran into another issue what’s happened it’s hurt me did it bite you it attacked my groin no Jack I told you you can’t have it like that that’s how I like it my seats actually fa straight away did you just sit on it yeah I just sat just sat on it like you would any other bike ever so we’ve gone so we looked at the bikes just there that’s how far we’ve gone legit you saw us roll off and as I was rolling down this thing attacked my nut sack it’s okay though cuz we get to use some of the tools that came with it Batman throwing star oh God that really got me now I’m scared of this bike as well now that’s not good is it yeah it’s put the fear in you with 10 yards big on it no what’s happened now just failed again if the seat’s broken already this is boarded like it’s like it’s unridable it’s it’s literally unridable out of the box this video is at real danger of this 2 minutes long this is the one I feel it this time I’ve been feeling it every time this is it it’s going to happen good luck thank you so scared this thing’s going to attack my balls so with seat fixed sort of we set off again surely we would get further than 5 m before finding another problem right this just go fa and be just a run in the M Garden variety come off the chain this isn’t the sort of greasy I like getting at least we made it a bit further this time not your fault obviously not my fault that was me just uh I just thought i’ changed gear stupid me so my chain had instantly ejected itself after trying to change gears and it was starting to look like it wasn’t going to be a one-time problem just to give you an idea of where we are guys that sign there is the entrance to the needles My Chains come off again try to change gears stop number three it’s not helping its case in court is it no it’s not there is a bike shop in the first town I think what you think buy them in totland oh bu your bike’s been fine it’s been all right so far I reckon this is a Friday evening build this bike and I reckon yours is a Tuesday early afternoon Yeah Tuesday early afternoon yeah the Factory’s had Monday to get back in the Rhythm Tuesday they’ve started really trying Friday’s come around mine’s like a quart to five bike they used all the leftover bolts they had I can hear your chain from here all white is actually only 24 mil across it’s longest point but there’s parts of it we want to take in in particular a road we want to see the issue is we got to get to that road which is easier said than done cuz we’re on bikes that essentially commuter bikes take you one or 2 miles from your house to the train station or the train station to your office not crossing a big island so these bikes aren’t bad when you haven’t got a pedal them this is beautiful wow what oh wow wow who’s left those there what a strange and mysterious land we’ve come to they look like MX5 seats I’m pretty sure they are well if you need one take one if I was on anything else other than this bike I’d take them what would you rather ride this or that yeah one of them there’s one each as well let’s swap them that’s a fair trade whoever they are all right well what else will we find where’s the rest of the car see how fast we can go yours is rapid look at we go 16 M hour no way yeah 60 MPH yeah let’s just say 60 man I’ve been chatting about these bikes they’re excellent our cab driver who dropped us at the needles lovely guy Martin he was telling us about drivers on the of white yeah apparently have five accidents a day and the is white isn’t very big so he told us to watch out for them how much is like a new bike 250300 maybe so this is well under half price it it shows uhoh we got a hill here well that’s not good pulled back to get some momentum front wheel came off the ground these bikes not the one cycling across the aisle of white on Amazon’s cheapest bikes seems like a good idea but we’re one dodgy shift away from Des faster but do you know what’s riskier than trusting these bikes using the same password for everything doing it were you or the bike let’s play in the bike for a minute there should be something nice at the end of the section for us though what is it my bed so so far they’re not a good commuter bike and they’re not a good mountain bike maybe can you try and do a back flip see if they’re a good bike stump bike oh God mine’s not stopping mine’s not stopping mine’s not stopping what do you mean did you just have to go into the grass why would not stop then trying not to think too much about Ethan’s failing breaks we were both very excited for the next section this is the Military Road right this is lovely this is amazing I’m so glad I get to enjoy such a nice Road like this on Precision cycling equipment such as this my front brakes aren’t really doing much yeah my front brakes aren’t really doing much either my back brake is doing a lot of the heavy lifting right now what a place God wish I was in a car so nice we had to stop again nothing to do with the fact that my chain came off again there’s something up with your body this guy he’s having it that is way too far although that’s what I was doing back there a second ago yeah we’ll catch him up but you know without a front Brak I don’t don’t have the confidence in it lovely but as nice as the Military Road was we had the brilliant idea of taking a shortcut terrible idea why did we think this was a good idea oh this bike is such aing F my bike is slowly rattling to bits the lack of suspension it’s horrible oh that’s handy what’s that I changed gears about 20 minutes ago and it’s just kicked in that’s quite a good feature to have it is surprise gears I know this isn’t what these the design for but they should be able to do a little bit of it we’re giving them the full test though aren’t we ah do you like your bike I don’t love it I don’t really love mine progress has been so slow now’s the point where I’m starting to feel it I think it’s this riding position is so unnatural on a bike yeah they’re just really ill-fitting aren’t they it means that anything that isn’t flat like any slight gradient is just pure Agony a one Dee incline is awful the amount we’ve stops we’ve had to do just off camera just to do the odd tweak to the bike we can’t get any good miles in cuz something goes wrong every half a mile I think I’ve legit at this point stopped maybe maybe five times to put my chain back on yeah just from trying to change gear why didn’t we buy Wei rode the most expensive bikes ever why don’t we do we got a McLaren and had a really nice day but as bad as these bikes are same can’t be said about the is y it’s so nice I’m going to come back when I don’t have anything stupid to do hey your rare tie might want a pump it’s definitely gone down it’s gone down definitely oh God damn it well yours Rock Solid yeah how is your bike so good and my bike is so crap uh I’ve got no brakes I can’t change gears uh somehow I’ve developed a slow punch on SES oh I hate it oh there’s a big hill here I need another gear give me one that will do what one’s that this riding position is absolutely wrecking my knees I left on in particular push got my regular bike would even register that as a hill on this everything multiplied by [Music] 10 I’ve had it with this bike mate Jack just had a semi meltdown and launched this bike on the well it takes energy and it turns into nothing it looks like a normal functioning bike but it’s actually designed to just you up I think we would have been quicker walking wouldn’t we just general I would have been so much quicker walking and then I propped it up to um to have a sip of walk quickly and the stand was out and now it fell over and it’s bent so now it doesn’t work so that that to the least and as we were stoping to get some water this this I I heard I heard this just fall from my bike somewhere like where does this go like what is this for that might be a fun game just trying to work out where that’s come from know where it’s meant to go though we’re going absolutely no the tiny wheels just make for such slow progress It’s like an anti-bike yeah look at this that’s happened on this journey what’s happened there look at this look that’s happened on this journey what’s going on you know people like oh I’ve had this bike I’ve had this bike for years me and this bike go way back I’m like it looks a bit rough but I’ve had this bike for hours I’ve had this bike minutes I don’t mean to moan I don’t mean to moan I just hate this bike oh people gloating going around in cars and stuff as well people do look at these bikes if you notice oh they turn heads they’re like what what are those two Muppets doing on those things have we bit off more than we can chew oh 100% this is where we’re making it this is it this is a sign oh we’ve made it oh right guys if you like this video unless I make my legs shorter I don’t think I’m going to jail with this thing you did your arms to be longer and your legs to be shorter it’s like a penguin’s bike having fun though yeah it’s it’s good laugh I don’t mean to moan about it but it’s just not very good it’s just really just just some just some bigger wheels just so I didn’t feel like every push of the pedal was a waste if only had bigger Wheels then it was a completely different bik with the issues mounting and our disdain for these bikes growing we pushed on with each mile becoming harder and harder as the ill-fitting bikes started to take their toll and punish our legs [Music] another Pitfall with this bike is the steering just the tiniest little twitch just sends you off Oh Oh It’s Tricky oh my knee is cooked your knee is cooked my left knee is really gone why is that Dr to of the bik no it’s user eror surely you already pedaling with one leg yeah how you holding up back there I sit enjoying myself I just hate this bike like that’s fair isn’t it well and truly knackered the aisle of white threw at us another challenge for these bikes the steepest incline of the day thoughts thoughts yeah on this hill yeah on this bike even that pers strugling G don’t have as much power as that pers I think on this bike I get [Music] to one of them watch me go in this absolute godness of a bicycle how about do yeah where was I just by that green bus camera with this camera as well just looks flat this bike is a cruel mistress punishing me for saying all these bad things and it would seem this slight incline would be the breaking point for not only our bodies but also our bikes look how far we come go I wouldn’t want to do it on Amazon’s cheapest bike so this is it we completely overestimated these bikes this is where it comes to an end if you’re thinking about buying one of these Amazon bikes just a little tip don’t I think even if you’ve on a limited budget get something secondhand they are falling apart my hand are gone and my left knee is done I am done I I can’t I can’t go any further how far we come not really 16 mil is that it I feel like I’ve done 160 Mi I hate that I’ve put all that effort in for 16 miles how are we faster on a scooter and a skateboard than we are on actual bikes oh my God we went so much further on a child’s scooter that doesn’t make any sense I white come to you white oh it’s beautiful do you know what I’m going to come here uh when I haven’t got this thing anywhere near me yeah and guys if you like this episode
