I had this awesome experience together with a friend as we explored Koblenz and nearby areas along the Rhine river.
This included visiting the Basilica of Saint Castor in Koblenz beside the Rhine river and seeing the “Deutsches Eck”, which is where the Mosel river joins the Rhine river.
The Rhine is one of the major European rivers that begins its downhill journey from the Swiss Alps cris-crossing its way through Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, France, Germany and the Netherlands, which is the last point where it drains into the North Sea.
Additionally, the Rhine Basin also includes parts of Italy, Luxembourg, and Belgium, which contribute water to the Rhine system.
It is one of the major European rivers and has played a significant role in history, culture, and transport to this day.
I can’t get enough of the Rhine. Simply love being around this magical river! 🙂
