Scored this old Allez from local and immediately stripped it down to the bare frame. The rebuild is a mix of used parts I sourced locally—everything is second-hand aside from the bolts, cables, and pedals.
The ride is brutally stiff; feeling each vibe and scratch on the road. I knew it belonged here more than anywhere else because it just feels like a true xbiking build, even if it's not your typical Franken(but it’s somehow a Franken in its own right, with a SRAM/Shimano mullet). Hope y'all like it.
