Marseille is Francis oldest city and when it comes to statistics also one of Europe’s most dangerous. How safe is it? The city dangerous reputation above all to the north the northern districts home to around a third of the city residence. The neighborhoods often in the headlines for druges even shootings. Qu’est-ce que vous dites au voyageurs qui ont peut-être peur de venir à cette façon de réagir? On leur dit rien de particulier. On leur dit simplement qu’ils sont dans une ville qu’ ne connaissent pas. I am sorry however this video clip does NOT address the hoards of non French people standing around in the streets just a short distance from the port. 10 years ago we drove through the side streets looking for a hotel…..this aint Bavaria….so we drove on to Bellville…which is a beautiful small town in Provance.

  2. As sadly a solo traveller, it's about doing your research before travelling and avoiding unsafe areas particularly after dark. Keep to the main shopping and dining areas where there are many people about when going for an evening meal

  3. The city is absolutely dangerous. Just a few days staying I’ve met mugging and snatching.
    People can say that I’m too incautious but normal city doesn’t require that level of caution.
    There’s no life threatening for tourists tho
