Nice video. Your Dutch sounds pretty good!
I was born in Kinderdijk and lived there for 17 years. Did a lot of swimming, fishing etc.
Next time when you order some Dutch food, ask how the Dutch will eat it
And not how the tourists get trapped.
For example the Dutch are eating their poffertjes only with butter and powdered sucker and their stroopwafels only plain. Sometimes warmed up by putting the stroopwafel at the top of a cup of hot tea or coffee.
6:35 My brother in Christ, don't tell me you never have seen sheep before.
Modern windmills serve only one goal: producing energy. The traditional mills had several purposes. Some were there to saw wood. Others to grind grain. Many in nl, as the ones on Kinderdijk served to pump water out of the low polderland.
Those little birds, I don't know their English name, called mus in Dutch. They where taking a sand bath.
