Hey everyone, welcome to my channel. So, back in November 2024 after ECMA, I went and placed an order for a new motor bike, which is always very exciting. So, I’ll present to you the Honda Transalp 2025. [Music] So, I ordered this Honda Transalp back in November 2024 and being in Malta, I got it delivered in August 2025. Until now, I did 830 kilometers. So, I’m going to do the first review on it. If you’re interested in this bike, please stick around. The engine is 755cc parallel twin. It delivers an astonishing power of 91 horsepower at 9,500 RPM and torque 75 Newton m of torque at 7,250 RPM. It’s Euro5 compliant. It comes with the 21in gold wheels at the front. This bike, it came with the Dunlop Trail Max. Okay, 21 inch at the front. And we go at the rear, we have the 18 inch. At the rear, we have the Trail Max mixtor suspension. At the front, we have 43 mm Showa inverted fork, 200 mm travel. At the rear, which they improved it from the previous generation, we have the Showa shock, 190 mm travel. In total, it is an 850 mm ground clearance. So, brakes in the front, we have 310 mm discs with two piston calipers. We go at the rear, we have 256 mm disc. ABS can be disabled. We go on the fuel. So, the tank hold 16.9 km. More or less. It gives you an autonomy of 390 km. We are greeted with the Honda Transal logo over here. Very neat. You have the traction control, the ABS on. You have this engine light. Okay. On. And here you have the cockpit of the bike which is very clean in my opinion. This is the mode that you can select. You have six riding modes which is user one, user two, standard, sport, rain, and gravel. Okay. You have this little joystick here. You can go left, right, up, and down. You have the horn over here. The horn, in my opinion, can be a bit bit bigger cuz with winter thick gloves, to be honest, uh it will be hard to find. You have the self-cancelling indicators once you turn on the You have the self-cancelling indicators, which is very handy, which I always forget. You have the uh four-way four-way fleshes over here. And it’s quite a neat cockpit. To be honest with you, I’ll prefer it more than the Africa Twin cuz the Africa Twin, this cockpit over here, there is too many buttons and stuff like that. At least this is quite neat. You have the fuel gauge, which is over here. You have the user mode, which you can select over here. It comes like that. Standard, sport, rain, gravel. You have the Honda road sink cap. To be honest, I don’t use it cuz uh to be honest nowadays now with the car play and stuff like that. You don’t really need it. That’s that’s my opinion. Anyway, you have the outside temperature, you have the time, and you have the refs per minute. And this is the user that you choose. Shall we do a sound check? Let’s listen to the 755 CC parallel twin. It’s quite nice to be honest with you. The stock exhaust it’s quite it makes some bubbles as well and some pops and stuff like that. I’m quite impressed. However, if we’ll change it is just because we go lighter or more sound. So what’s different from the Honda Trans are the previous generation. So we have the headlight which is different which it improved its visibility at night. The last generation like my brothers let’s say it wasn’t very good visibility at night. These uh indicators are quite like them. However there is people saying that uh other road users they might think that you are signaling to go left or right. However, in my opinion, uh there is much more visibility over here. So, from the last year, there was uh customers complaining about the rear shock. However, they made it a bit better, and I didn’t want to crash the bike cuz I don’t have any crash bars. Gold wheels, they go on very well with this little yellow over here. So, this bike makes it quite comfortable for the short riders like me. I am 169 cm which we can enter into the adv market because there is other competitors like the Yamaha 10 era which is impossible to go on. So the trans makes it possible. It’s 850 mm tall. I am 169 cm. Okay. And I can have it at the end of my foot. There is another option which is the low seat option. It will make 20 mm the seat lower than it is. So it comes to 830 mm. I don’t really want to go that part will will impact the ride quality. Now enough talking, enough specs. Let’s go for a ride. So welcome on board my transa 25. We leave this beautiful spot here. Stunning. Here I am in the limits of Baja. As you can see, it’s on fourth gear, below 2,000 revs per minute, and the bike holds the gear very well. So, that’s quite an important factor for me, but it holds the the gear. These rides here, these country roads are quite nice over here. [Applause] In terms of wind, today happened to be quite a windy day on the island of Morta. Okay. So, it’s quite a great test to try this this wind deflector this wind screen over here. Okay. So, and as you can see, it’s passing my head. This passing this little lid. Let’s say this little sun lit uh over here. So, for me, that’s perfect. But I believe for taller riders I think that it’s not going to be very very good. There is other option as I said there is taller windscreens windscreens but uh I don’t like those type of windscreens. Might as well go out in a car with the taller windscreens. As you saw, the transf has the self-cancelling indicators which are quite handy cuz normally I always always forget to switch them off once I go over a roundabout or a turn or whatever. I always I always forget to switch them off which is very convenient. This 5 in TFT display to be honest is quite clean. As I said before, everything is well well quite well explained. And then in the night it goes into the dark mode. So when you go into a tunnel and stuff like that from white it goes into a black mode. It’s about the Honda that runs out. Well, with the customers, they always complained that they always wished to have the cruise control, but Honda didn’t listen to its customers this time. And we know why is that? Because otherwise the Africa twin, it won’t sell that that great. So, everyone will go for the Honda Franza 2025. So, this is quite a nice road. Beautiful road over here. Beautiful views as well as I the weight of the Honda Transer 2025. It’s around 110 kg. The Honda Transal it’s it’s quite in a nice sport. It’s between the Africa Twin and between the NX 500. to those people that who wants a bit more power than 500 to 750. I think it’s quite a nice engine. This parallel twin, it sounds quite nice as well. So, we are on normal mode over here and as soon as you change into sport mode, the bike changes behavior. So, so in terms of vibrations, how is the trans in terms of vibrations? The vibrations are good. Handlebars are quite comfortable. There is no vibrations. However, once you go over the 4,000 RPM, you can feel a bit of vibration in the right peg. Nothing too serious. Nothing that it will annoy you, but it’s there. In terms of from the tank, the wind, it’s hugging me. Exactly. It’s passing over here. So, I’m not feeling any wind in my legs either. The heat from the engine obviously is quite windy. I cannot speak about that. So I cannot I cannot say cuz I’m not feeling it. We’ll see it in the hot pine of the summer how it is how it behaves. So let’s see how it behaves this parallel twin when you push it a bit. So And as you can see, it’s 25,500 reps and it’s sitting quite comfortably. But once you put down a gear, the engine comes alive. And you can feel that little bit of vibration when you start reaching the 4,000 RPM between traffic. The bike handles very well. As you can see, I did 858 km and I can tell you that it handles quite well in the traffic cuz it’s quite slim. It’s not bulky. You know, you can feel that you can pass. Obviously I don’t have any luggage so I cannot say with the luggage but without luggage you can feel that you can filter quite easily. So and you can enter quite comfortably as you can see here can filter quite easily. [Music] [Applause] [Applause] So let’s see how the transp handles the corners. So but there is in forums lots of people they said that there is lots of um road road sensitivity so they don’t feel that they are with a 21 in that’s my that’s my opinion as well I already tried it obviously as you can see I did 860 km and I can tell you that it doesn’t you don’t expect it that it’s 21 in and it’s quite comfortable. So, as you can see, the parallel picks up quite easily and it’s quite easy to maneuver. So, it’s quite light. Fourth gear, 25,500 RPM. Easy. I am on sport mode. And once you open the throttle, there it goes again. Look, very easy, very easy. Look, and obviously I’m waiting for the quick shifter at the moment. I don’t have the quick shifter and I believe that with the quick shifter is going to be easier. So, it’s going to be much more fun and engaging. But to be honest, I’m quite engaged with this trans. And I’m not saying this because it’s mine because even the engine is quite lively. So [Applause] The change of direction on this bike is quite good. Being 21 in front, I thought that there’s going to be that much road engaging to be honest. But I can tell you that it’s quite fun as well to go around the corners. Being 21 in normally you don’t have that feeling with the ground but the trans I don’t know what they do Honda but it’s quite nice to be honest with you and you have the best of both worlds you have the possibility to go off road or gravel roads let’s say and you have some fun on the on the tarmac as well is very very comfortable it changes direction quite quickly as well. I’m quite impressive to be honest with you. Being a 750 as well, the row of the engine, it sounds nice as well. So this is our famous Gastro Road and Motor on a Saturday and Sunday is very busy over here with bikers. My honest review of my Honda Transar 2025 in gray edition. The things that annoys me the most are the lack of cruise control, although it’s not a necessity. I believe once you have it, everyone will use it. The lack of engine temperature over there in the 5-in TFT display is quite annoying as well that we cannot monitor the engine over there. some minimal vibrations over the 4,000 RPM over here. There is some minimal vibrations. Nothing too serious. One thing that I can point out as well is that the foot peg is quite small as well. So, if you’re wearing a thick winter boots, I believe it’s quite annoying. It’s quite small. One another downside is that it comes with normal tubes. However, this 75 parallel twin, it’s quite a nice engine. it. It has some nice character and with the stock exhaust, it even make some pops and bangs. So, my verdict, I think for 12,000 bike, I believe if you’re not going to do some serious off-road, in my case, I will be doing some light gravel and some adventures during my trips. I believe that’s that’s all I need and that’s why I bought it. So, I hope you find this video helpful. If you didn’t find it helpful, at least you enjoyed the views that I rode in. And hopefully see you the next time. Ciao.
