If you could remember, this is a cat I got from Shian back to May. He’s sleeping now. It’s uh becoming a pretty big cat now. It’s been four months since May. He’s well, he’s sleeping now. Very. Yeah. Anyway, welcome to my channel. This is China far away. Uh I know it has been pretty long time like two months since my last video. Well, just a little bit update what I have been done during the summer time and some of videos I I was made on the journey. Yeah, I went to the transcontinental race again. Yeah, it start from summer July and to the mid of August. If you’re putting uh traveling time is nearly a month long for myself the whole thing together like from mid July until the the last week of August and from August kind of recovery time for me until now cuz uh well after the long riding it was uh 5,000 like kilometers riding uh lots of recovery uh for myself like the nerves and the muscles the body way everything just uh getting back now gradually. Yeah. Again, it’s a lifetime experience for me. Well, it was a pretty long journey. According to the tracker of the race, I cackled um 5,300 kilometers. But if you look at my tracker uh all my thought from the GPS, you can tell like I was uh roaming around most of times rather than go straight. So yeah, that was uh my why I did what I did in the summertime. Uh massive cycling journey which was uh lifetime I thank the parents for myself. So today’s video is about what I did in the summertime during um transcontinental race. Uh it was starting from Spain and finished um at Romania. Hello everyone. It is a safety requirement that all handcarried items are securely stored under the seat in front of you. Heat. Heat. Keep going. Everybody. Thank you. So our daylight. like 14 14 days for you 300. So it’s like 20 20 per day about but I start to fast. Okay. And then the first two days uh in the first day have 35 km and the next day 32 km and my my legs it was kind of it was too much. [Applause] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. [Applause] I was thinking I met you on the road. Huh? Thinking like I I might can see you on the road. You look You look much better than me in it. Wait. Yeah, both of us. I’m old fat guy. Which way? Uh wait. Uh yeah, like this. No. Wait. Okay. You have a orange version. I think my line is more. Take a lot. Thank you. I’m a paid photographer. This is great. But Trump is going to put me in jail now, man. That’s what Trump I’m going to keep a little distance cuz I don’t want to get cuz you come from China and you He also wants a picture. Yeah. Can I get a picture? Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot. stupid me. Sorry for the picture for Foo. Thank you. You know, thanks. I’m gonna tell this is Loris from Switzerland. This is Fu from Beijing. So, I beat him in a sprint to breast. Nice. Seriously, after over 4,000K because my ego was screwed up. I felt like such a jerk. But now he beats me by a week. More than a week. It’s I’m so proud of him. So, how are you? I’m good. How are you? You’re all set. This is all you’re taking? No, no. I’m Yeah, just uh testing like basically the the You know, my dream is for one of my very fast friends to go as a pair and they carry everything and I go like this. Okay. And and the goal is to get me to the party. Good to see you on the road. Yeah, you too. It’s great that you’re wearing this. Yeah, it’s quite it’s quite comfy and it’s very good quality graceful. Yeah. And yeah, it’s cool. So, yeah. And it’s bright. It’s yellow color. I like it. Yeah. Yeah. I have two and the other one is just normal one, but this one is white. Yeah. I might You’re going to take a spare? No, I got to wear this one from starting point. Yeah, that’s great. Yeah. Yeah, that’s great. The other one a little bit thicker. So, this one is more. It’s cool. Yeah, maybe I’ll send you another one. Thanks. You know, I almost I was gonna I have to laugh because after last year I said I’m done. Okay. I’ve said this before and I was going to send you my whistles. I think when I asked you already. Did I tell you? I got it. Yeah, I got it already. The whistle I got ready from you. I know. But I was going to send you my whistles that I took across. Okay. Just because I said I was done. All right. So I said I’m going to send food. I think maybe when I asked you for your address, I was not going to send you jersey. I think I was gonna and then I changed my mind. I say, “Oh, I think I’ll do it again. Keep coming back. I’m going to keep the whistle.” Well, if I finish this year, I want to finish next year cuz that’ll be 10. But I’m 68 years old. It’s all right. It’s not. And you know, oh, same bite, same everything. Uh, I had another one for the first four. Okay. Just like this. All right. And it’s my training bike now. All right. And then this one. But now I have red bags, so it’ll be faster. What do you think? 20 watts. So that’s everything. What you Yeah, I have a few more things I have to put. Okay. But I carry a lot. I carry two kits. Well, you’re not going to see me after the start. Come on. I hope not. Okay. Let’s see. That means you have a problem. I don’t want you to have a problem. Thanks, Ducks. Thanks. No, I’m proud of you. See, this is the other beauty. It is. It’s not like I It is. I I’m serious. I’m proud of you. Thank you. Yeah. If you can remember when you pass somebody, say hello. There. It’s very weird. You’re in the middle of the 4,000k race and you don’t see anybody and then there’s a new racer and they don’t even say hello. Yeah. But I I think that’s also just riding. Yeah. Listen, don’t do the Aiata at night. Don’t do it at night. Okay. These are 35s. Uh 32. 32. These are great tires, I think. So, yeah. You have tubes. You have tubes, right? I do. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I did my first TCR, two TCRs on this, right? My back tire, no pro. You can get 5,000K out of that back tire. Okay. I’m going to have to get a new tire because I not the front but the back I can barely get maybe I could do it but I will probably have to get a new tire and I ride 650b but I did research before you did lots of research. I I did some research on you know so I think I’m going to be okay but uh but you will be okay and um but but um don’t do the oiata at night for two reasons. one you will get punctures. So grand the one guy had nine or 10 punctures on the aciata in 2015. So this year the the time frame is quite tight actually. I mean is it for the GC? Well I think so. Yeah. I think the ferry is a lot point because you can lose so much time if you are not in time on the ferry. Well, you know I I I see I feel bad for you guys cuz I don’t I’m not there’s no way I’m making the GC. Well, I Well, it’s kind of tic, but I don’t know. It’s happening everything. I don’t know. I mean, let’s say I mean, for you, if I were you, I would probably try to make it because you’re able to make it. I mean, you know, you made it the past two years. Thank you. Except for stupid things. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I got this qualification last year because of running on the forbidden road. Okay. And this year, this year hopefully he will not so many people like this year is going to be a big problem with disqualification versus penalty. The meeting you know it’s announced it’s in the manual now. Now it’s in the manual. Okay. So then there’s glass if we don’t see you. Good luck. You do. Nice to see Nice. Nice jersey. Very nice. It’s Everybody’s going to laugh when they see that. And and you know what? I have a friend uh from Bulgaria who’s on this he’s American man. He lives on the east coast. He’s going to see that jersey and he’s gonna be confused. Yeah. I’m going to wear that one for the check back checking. Thank you for the jersey. Yeah, I’m heading to the registration for the race now. Got the cap numbers 27. You can see lots of bikes from other riders. It’s one. It’s another four of them. This is my bike. Morning. Hello. I’ll chat to you later. Oh, hey. Good to see you. And likewise. Likewise. Hey, Gary. Hey. How are you? Good. Good. You so glad to see you. You, too. America. So, how are you? Excellent. Excellent. So yourself this year also same like last year. Yeah, just same. Okay. Hope to finish this year. Oh, you will. We all. Yeah. But I got like DQ last year. Oh, you got DQ from what? Uh the forbidden road. Oh, no. Montenegro, but it’s all right. Oh, well. So, it’s a reason coming back. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. So, I tried to do this. Um try to recollect it like Yeah. Make some memory. Yeah. Yeah. It’s good. supposed to be a lot of things happen on the road, right? Yeah. Oh, so many. Oh, I love this. Yeah, it’s a How’d you do that? It’s a mountain. Nice. Nice. Nice. Nice. Yeah. Same fly. Yeah. Super. Good stuff. Oh, I like that a lot. Thank you. I couldn’t figure a way to do it, so I just opened the house. Already lots of people here. Hey, Taiwan. Yeah. Sure. Oh, I wrote a different one just like this that I wrote and he knows a lot. Oh, thank you. Hi. Good to see you. Okay, cool. Yeah, I saw you on Instagram, I think. So, so uh I beat him in a sprint in 2019. Really? From car to breast like 50k at the end. Oh, the one that continues cuz I wouldn’t let him I wouldn’t I couldn’t let I thought he was some stupid slow guy and he came out of he was going to the toilet. I thought he was in back and he came out and I just took off and I felt like a jerk. Right. Sorry you’ve heard this story so many times. And afterwards I sort of apologized to him and he said, “No, you inspired me.” So this is almost new. Okay. Thank you. Okay. And if you don’t if you try it and you don’t like it, it’s okay. These are a little used but these are nice. Okay. So maybe you know and they’re bright and he wore I showed you the picture. I really got the yellow one three days ago. Yeah. You’re He is super nice guy. He is super nice guy too. This is the best part. It’s my friends from all over the world. Yes, it is. It is, you know. Why? I’m curious. already memorized your cat number. This is good. Thank you so much. Thanks a lot. Okay. Yes. So, you can take a sticker. Sure. Uh then if you go around there, you get your cat and your tracker. Okay. Then we’ll take your portrait over there. There’s a tracker briefing down there and then your bike checkers outside. Thank you. Awesome. Thanks a lot. Yeah. Thank you. That’s right. Where’d you get that? Uh, it’s the back of the motor. For what? I don’t know. Come back. Yeah. Yeah. Go. It’s uh Yeah. Next to the morning. Do you have your cup number? Uh 27, I think. 27. 27. 47. 27. Yes. 27. GPS tracker. Thank you. Thanks. The glass. Yes. Hi. Oh, 27 C. It’s pretty small while this here. Are they going to give us a charging thing? Uh, maybe we need to check. Hey, Andrew. Andrew. Andrew, I have a question for you. I like the idea of turning this on at night, you know, not off to the public. Yeah. So, it’s got a geoence feature, right? Um so you we’ll be explaining to registration but uh long press that and it vibrates um and it will geoence you in a 5k area so that you see basically this is a a pixel But initially four days. So can we have this tracker in the back on the bed? Okay, that’s the third one. So the the tracker is not waterproof. So first of all, you need to keep inside the bag with the splash proof. Don’t cover with any metal thing. You need to because it need to be in point with the So no under the saddle. Definitely. No, under the saddle. No, under the in a saddle bag. Under a ton of coffees and things. It need to pinpoint to the sky. Mhm. So, it could be in your your bus. No, under the arrow, but on top of somewhere or your on top of your your handlebar bag in the saddle bag on top on top of the inside. Not necessarily on top. I’ve used mine like three, four years on the top of my saddle bag. No problem at all. Even my butt hang it over and yeah. No back here all the time for many years on this race. Yeah. Other the other very important thing is the yellow fence. The yellow fencing is a big button on top. It’s a big one. If you keep pressing until it be breaks, okay, it g fencing you in case you want to sleep on the bushes on the night time because everyone can see where you are and you may want some privacy. So you know sleeping on someone oh you are one of the riders of the so it offens you so no one see you only in a circle of 2 km okay so they don’t know where you are press break it off No you don’t need to turn it on again as soon as you move for longer than 5 minutes again so and this It’s only for members of the public. We still know exactly where any question. Yeah. No, it’s okay. The light is fine. Yeah. Just stay here. No, no, after you come here. Thank you. Good morning. Good morning. Thank you, sir. Yep. reflector reflector down the other side. Yes, perfect. 27. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you very much. Okay. All right. Okay. I see you today live. Hey Hello. Hi. Well, I just uh took a shower. Uh what time now? Uh it’s 2:00 in the afternoon. About 6 hours uh before we start off for the race. T number 11. Um they’re feeling good. You had some food. just now a little bit sleep and maybe another extra 2 hours of uh rest before briefing. Then uh yeah, at 8:00 tonight, we’re going to go Hedgehog. Hedgehog. Hedgehog. Hi. How are you? How are you? Good to see you again. Yeah. You’re doing solo this here. Yes. Again. Where’s your bike? Uh just over there down the on the on the surface on the ground. You think you’re first in row or last? Uh in the middle actually. It’s already here. I think you just uh maybe over there I think. Okay. I’m a little uh confused what to do with my bike. Okay. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Welcome to DC number 11. [Applause] We’ve got Anna back at home. Um, and of course all our volunteers today. So, thank you for them. Not just today, but all the way through the race. So get off your bike and put your bike between you and your dog and walk through its territory slowly whilst talking to it. That will almost always get you out of that situation in one piece and with no blood drawn. Um save for bears. Um now the ne the next thing is all of us are um everyone fighting for the Ali Rancher is um you remember Mohit, you remember Gigi. So when we roll out today, I’d like you to I’d like you to think of them uh and all of the other smaller riders riding TCR number 11. Uh and both of them are a huge loss. Um so I’d just like to take a moment to remember those two riders and all of the riders that we’ve lost. So just just take a moment to quiet. Thank you. The Malaria celebrates that joy of racing, the joy that Gigi and Moit had, um that Christine had who also died on race this year, that Mike had, that Frank had, uh that all of the fallen riders had. So, it’s a poignant thing. It’s to remember them. Uh I I personally got to know Moit last year, and a lot of you will have done the same. I didn’t know Gigi, but I’ve spoken to many riders who did. Um, and I think just the fact that he would have been, if he’d been here, would have been the oldest rider to ever take on the Transcontinental tells you something about him. So, for all of these riders, we celebrate their lives. We do it with the joy of racing. We’ve remembered it. Remembering that racing is a privilege that we are incredibly lucky people to be able to come along race in these incredible landscapes to race along these parkour in these the most beautiful areas of the world. And the winner of the Malia Rancher this year will be will be celebrated as a as a category winner. We hope that riders will race for it. [Music] Thank you. Yeah. [Music] Sorry. Yes. Yes, it is. Yes. A little bit of pop. Okay. Where is Mo? Cuz I have to give this to him. I want to say hello to him as well. Actually, I didn’t say because I have this for him. I gave you these, right? Yeah. Yeah. I got straight from you. ready to go again. This is a long way. I said I I sent um Yeah, some people told me they have 4600 km. 46? I don’t believe it. Well, it possible if you just go like direct way rather than I don’t know, you know, cuz my one definitely much more longer than most of you guys. Yeah. I don’t know. It’s weird because elevation you cannot compare because different apps even if you split your route. If your route is uh uh 20,000 you cut it in half it won’t be 10 and 10. It will be something different. So this is like you cannot compare. It’s but distance should not be that much difference. Difference. Okay. So, it’s a little strange, but it is what it is, you know. This is like um I guess we have to be careful with the people. Yeah. I am going to wait. I’m not going to go crazy. Especially the like K and a half. It’s I mean in the village is also very tricky. It’s very narrow turning. It’s only like 1 m 1 m 2 m something like that. Yeah. But but well, let’s say um and so he got bit by a dog and he scratched and I gave the next year I gave him a whistle that he says helps him cuz it’s sort of iffy but uh and he beats me by like a week. He beats me by like a week now. Eight days. Eight days. Eight days. Eight days he did. And um I’m very proud of it. It’s great. This is the beauty. instead of like, oh, he beats me. It’s not like this at all. And then it’s always, but let me tell you to do this within the within the limits world class. Now, it didn’t used to be, but I wanted to have more for you, but I sort of gave it away. But these are I’m kind of full anyway. Okay, good. These are only 120 calories, but they taste very good and they have a little caffeine and it’s not gel. Okay. It’s like rice drink. It’s not a drink. It’s It’s uh But it’s not sweet like a usual cycling. You know how it can be too sweet and yucky? It’s not like this. Okay. And then uh take this one. Okay. It’s uh it’s isopropyl alcohol. Yeah. But it’s like this big. Okay. And this one I have to give a So, how are you Mo? Good. Sorry. Good to see you again. Yes. Good. It’s good to see everybody in here. Everybody who’s uh who who who likes it enough to be riding. Can I would you like back? You put it somewhere. I have no place to put it. I I cuz I brought treats for these guys. So, how are you doing? All right. In good shape. Wonder where we see this time. Oh, yeah. Maybe roughly the same. Somewhere like last year, Turkey. Maybe this year. I hope we don’t see in Turkey. Now, how many do you have? Uh, less than five, but quite close. Yeah, I have 48. Some people told me they have 46. Uh, like they say 45 to 5,000 in the meeting. Anybody who does it like below 4.7 is really bending it. I I think I think Well, I don’t know if you can do it without being on band roads, I don’t know. Uh well, I think you can, but it’s not really the fastest speed. Like you you can Yeah. Yeah. It’s a lot of climbing a lot of travel. Especially in the beginning, you can do a very straight Sure. But it’s not easy. We have a group photo in a few minutes. So, see you later. Yes. At least I could keep I did not know the sticker was there for these guys. For for what? The sticker. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I I saw the sticker, but the one I saw I did not You told we were together, right? Yeah. I did not realize it was for that because Gigi is my friend. Oh, right. And and I have the I took the finished picture of Gigi. The only one cuz I was Nobody was there. Oh, it’s good to so good to know those stories. I didn’t because it’s not really like clear. Did you know one week before he died? Did I tell you about what he the email he sent? You see on Facebook I think he’s saying be careful. I sent it to you. Yeah. Be careful about Italian road. I think this guy is 77 years old. So he probably riding Italian roads for 70 years. Sad, isn’t it? Well, it’s so good to know. I didn’t know. That means we have another one for Moit as well. No, it’s only for GD. Oh, we have another one for Moit, I think. Is it Does it say under there? No, it’s only for GG. Maybe there’s another one. I don’t I didn’t I don’t know. Yeah. Thank you. Enjoy yourselves everyone. Hey, have a nice time. Bye-bye. See you. See you later. Heat up here. Hey, orange. Do you have any 12? Yeah, the first one is too. Yeah, it was not okay. 27. Okay. Thank you. But who’s counting? No, I’m just kidding. I’m just I’m just finding games for myself. It’s one day 20 hours and 12 minutes. Well done. the cars. See you later. All right. You got blue. Looks not to good. Yeah, 364. But uh I don’t know. It’s like uh well if he if he didn’t fun like he lost his car. That going to be funny. Yeah. [Music] You want some chips or we have water also? Uh, what’s that? The wrong It’s a red wine with Sprite. It’s alcohol. No. No. Oh, no. Alcohol. You want water? Water, please. Thank you. Not really. Thank you. Thank you. No, I don’t know. Um, yeah, it was it was luck that it was not raining or or whatever. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. [Applause] Hey, you want some or you want some water? You want chips? Thank you very much. You’re welcome. Thank you. What’s uh you you you at my you you behind me or you in front? H what’s your number? 181. Okay. It’s all right. Uh what’s your number? Uh 42. Now heading to somewhere France and today supposed to be another 300k. [Applause] Well done. You good? You good? Yeah. Yeah. Good. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. To leave it. So, that’s the password for Can I take to the room, the bike? It might be a bit of a struggle. You can try if you want, but I can show you where to leave outside. It’s up to you. Everyone else here on the race boats are left outside. Oh, you know somebody already? Yeah, I know three people. Three people already here. Yeah, honestly you’re the last one that’s killed so far. There you go. And yeah, it’s a nice Thank you. Okay, guys. Thank you. It’s in the face cuz I I need to try a bit. Thanks. Bye. Goodbye. Don’t open it up.

  1. Another beauty of the Race: on D3, I met Ana Orenz, she came out to support all TCR riders along the climb where she is living.
    "I know you"
"no, you don't know me, you are dreaming"
"I know you from that movie"
"ok, you are the only one, other people just think a crazy lady riding out for supporting TCR riders."
We had a very good talk about the horse, daughter and for sure cycling.
This is the beauty of the long distance riding. You meet people, talk with them, and have fun.
