Station Road, Aylesford ME20 looking towards 14 century Aylesford Bridge
crossing the River Medway originally a bridge with equal sized arches
centre converted to one wider arch in 1824 in this video I will be
travelling through two villages Aylesford, and Eccles
both in Kent, England going round to the old bridge
along Station Road, Aylesford ME20 turning on to older route of road
leading over Aylesford old bridge an unusually coloured MINI the paint changes colour
depending where you look from when the car was new an
expensive factory option standard paint colours were no cost
with up to £300 for metallic paint this chameleon paint costed £3600
no surprise I havn’t seen many! on to 14 century Aylesford Bridge
over the River Medway quite narrow, but 700 years ago
cars were not very wide widest thing on the road would
probably have been a horse-drawn cart edge of roadway has bits that stick out
these are on top of the piers between arches I don’t know if they are for strength
or as passing places useful place to stop
out of everyones way church is
