I rode the Eurovelo 6 bike route from Nante France to Budapest, Hungary

This is I think Gitenhoff. I miss all the pretty parts and and this is less pretty right on the river. Beautiful wide deep river and the town’s right over on the other side. Very nice. So, next stop is Lake Constance. Nice way to spend the day. It would be nice if it was sunnier, but still nice. This is a first. I’m heading up now. Starting the big up out to Lake Constance. Make sure I’m going the right way. and I’m in the forest with all these cool little huts and things. I know there’s no wild camping allowed in Germany. There was in France, not that I did any, but that’s probably why they have all these um things, whole system of trails. Anyway, just want to show this off. becoming a bit of a weather expert and I can tell that’s pretty good weather, but that’s bad weather and I’m heading to it. And all day I make play games like is it going the same direction as me? Is it standing still? Is it going towards me? If it’s going the same direction as me, how fast is it going? Am I going to ride by it? Blah blah blah. Anyway, it’s definitely raining today. Probably more like around 5:00. It’s only 11:00, but whatever. Make sure not to turn. Nope. Anyway, that’s the weather lesson for the day. That is bad weather and and that’s kind of good weather. Okay, I’m in the town now. So, you want to live in Switzerland, right here? It is. All these villages are very cute, very small, very quiet. It’s Monday morning. It’s kind of like lunchtime now, so it’s a little close. This is the busy part of the day. And those water things right there apparently are safe to drink, but nobody can tell me. Everyone says they’re safe to drink, but nobody can tell me the source. All right, pardon the music. Another beautiful town from now on in. This is the best day. All these beautiful towns on the Rine coming in either flowing into or flowing from Lake Constance. I’m not going to film in here cuz I’m going to walk my bike. Okay. I went to great lengths for my viewers. Uh I looked this town up actually. So I first time since the Atlantic Ocean. And I don’t know exactly where I am at the time. This is Stein on the Rine and it goes way down there and all around. There’s lots of bike tours and stuff. I wish my wife was here because the crepe is like $18 and I won’t do it, but she spends money and she would have bought me one, but she’s not and I’m skipping the quick video. This is definitely upscale suburb. Um, outside Stein on the Rine and a lot of gated houses. Everything’s very well kept up. I guess you can’t see anything, but um the river, the rind is right there, not the Danube. And then anyway, I’m probably not worth showing this clip. Quick quick video. I just left uh guyheim, which is the horn of the uh Lake Constants. I found this cool lookout. I saw a bunch of bald eagle signs. Apparently, it’s just a big bald eagle nesting area. So, that’s I guess south looking all the way down the rine. A shrine on the Rine. I’m sorry for saying this wrong. And that’s north. And then it goes up around that way. And then I head up into Germany and then Bavaria and everything. And Austria is way out there. Very pretty today. How fast we can go on a bike at 9 miles an hour. Heading in into this beautiful city. I think it’s Ry Flops. And there’s a possibility I made that up, but pretty sure that’s it. Anyway, um there’s an eda here, which is my favorite grocery store in the world. Uh even better than Whole Foods. And if I play my cards right, I’ll have a big cinnamon roll, American style cinnamon roll in about 20 minutes. This is how you get in. Beautiful path. Swiss know how to do things. That’s the rest of Lake Constance. This is the This is the northern end of Lake Constance. That’s going down south. Beautiful. And it’s a beautiful day, especially after yesterday. It was a terrible thunderstorm. Bad enough that I was worried a widow maker was going to crash and hit me uh and kill me. And a widow maker, for those who don’t know, are tree limbs that fall and kill people in the woods. That was wrong as usual. This is Rad Fles or something like that. Anyway, this is well, I guess the other gateway town. This is on the north side of the Rine. Very pretty. There’s a big rail station right down there. Take you in to Zurich for your job. And there’s the center. I’m not sure I’m going in there unless there’s an eda in there. We’ll see. This reminds me of being on the Ryan on last year in France. So you go town to town and in the distance behind that tree actually uh you see each town’s uh bell and little square and every little town has like a bakery and whatnot. This is since you’re seeing a car. This is one of the few sections I’ve been on that’s on the road. I think there’s a bike path down there, but I’m on the track, so I follow the track 95% of the time. Anyway, we’ll see what that town’s like when we get there. Looks like it’s going to be a pretty nice day. This is one of the kiosks you see out in the country. They sell I guess like whatever that is and fruit and eggs and stuff. I don’t eat any of that, but it’s nice to have. I guess it’s like the German version or sis version
