when we enter something we’ve never done how do we know how good we are and anything less than number one we’re capping our potential before we start now I never got to being a world champion in Iron Man which was my goal it was long distance that’s not a failure that’s my level but I would never have done that if all I wanted to do was finish a triathlon challenging yourself is something that you’re very used to you’ve set World Records the most distance traveled of a static bike you’re former world champion what does it take we aren’t Champions because of what’s put around our neck we’re champions in tunning up every day with the philosophy of doing our best and I really wanted to keep exploring how I could use sport as a connector one of which has been your 3,000 M cycle around in Britain we have communities we have history it just became me as a piece of string connecting communities and stories as I cycled along I went foraging in the Lake District I visited a charity that picks seaweed and then grows them increasing the probability of them surviving this one lady built her house out of rubble now she has a beautiful home out of it just Absolut incredible people who don’t take normal as normal
