welcome back you beautiful people we’re here at bike park whales in wales we’re actually the south of wales and we’re going to ride vantalize vanta vanta neil not fanta right and this is part two of our search for the biggest jumps in the uk we’re gonna go uh worldwide this shortly i should go in somewhere very exciting very soon but yeah this is the third time blake i’ve been here with half intentions to ride this and i’ve done it so far yeah it’s today is a little bit windy mother nature not us it’s mother nature’s wind and um yeah there’s a few challenges on this one big jump it’s kind of different to windhills these are there’s loads of different styles of jumps going on here so it’s techy and fast we’re gonna have to work it out i guess well that might take a while neil yeah you ready no i’m ready to walk down there and check that first one out [Music] [Music] oh how scary that is first hits man first hits on anything is scary this is a very long jump i might need the tape measure [Music] [Music] blake showing off his free ride qualifications i’ve done the first little one three times to get a feel for it he did it once and then did the first three in one go so super smooth looks actually pretty good i dropped the first two [Music] hahaha [Music] too much in case yeah oh man i’m just getting uh trying to piece it together but i was too high and too long now too short and that’s perfect so one step at a time the old picnic slab was scary i like pushed myself over i was like no get over i didn’t want to tag it because it’d be the worst otb of my i didn’t want to target here and just get barked over the bars [Music] [Music] so we’ll take a quick look at some of the features and also we’re going to get tape measure see a big deal yeah this first top section right here is techy fast it’s actually quite fun kind of step down hip step up here into this big one we call it a rock slap jump rock slap slash can i have a coronation chicken sandwich please do you know lion witch in your wardrobe yeah they uh sacrifice the lion this is where they actually filmed it little known fact really yep selfie then boy no you’re lying aren’t you lying [Music] this section neil it at first it’s quite intimidating right because there’s a tree and you have to jump over the tree do you go left right or straight over i go right left to right but fir trees well these evergreen pine trees over five years right that means they’re established every year after that they grow a meter so next year that’s a meter taller you have to you’ll have to pull even harder little known fact [Music] [Applause] did you feel with that one fine yeah i the last minute freak out like oh my god flicks on a tree what’s going on yeah you take do you take off now oh there’s one i say this is the most techy section in the whole trail this mid-part section of vanta is you’ve got to be on your a-game if you’re not techy uh supercross so this jump on jump off or roll that manual kind of a transfer a really long and low don’t forget it’s only take off that big it’s really long and then you’re into the weeps got a tape measure [Music] [Music] hahaha [Music] that was scary [Music] got the tape measure because this one is quite big and it’s the most awkwardest one ever if you go too far that way you’re in a tree and that grows a meter every year oh my gosh it’s 10 meters exact how many feet’s that 33 feet why if you mess up that’s that feature there you’re sure as hell not doing this you freaking go over the bars you case it [Music] oh this this one is very it’s very unnerving right because you’re coming flat out you’ve just done that awkward situation then you have to do this jump someone’s garden 37 foot that’s pretty big that’s massive i have the takeoff’s about two foot tall it literally is two foot tall well one two three foot tall okay so already we’ve hit 33 foot 37 foot and it’s only getting bigger what’s next neil most awkward bit neil loves him moto whoops this section right here is all about all the way if you’re not on your a-game again you’re gonna go over the bus because they’re quite horrible especially this third one [Music] why blake that is a big take off neil we’re going that way neil [Laughter] that’s funny shark fin really fun but you could either jump at all neil’s case case it i’d have done both actually yeah there is that there you go great thing about this jump is you can land there and land 10 foot down there and you just about survive and he’s he had to tell the tale just my fault but i’m not down there somewhere [Music] this is the biggest jump on the line and you absolutely bomb into it it’s actually about 35 feet which is not the longest but it’s by far the biggest you go so high on this one yeah well that the long low up there was 37 foot yeah that’s right it’s quite scary that long ago so this is a whopper the air time on this massive but wait there neal where we’ve been landing wait though yeah it’s there oh so that’s more like 43 and a half 44 feet that’s still not bigger than but yeah that’s true so wind hill is still bigger wind hill’s still bigger though i did see you cases jump i did didn’t i so that was more like 33 feet [Laughter] [Music] so after that big one there the first one you got the second one as well which is a little bit smaller than that so i’m saying that’s about 33 foot something it’s not not as big as that one and after this it’s just basically roller road gaps it’s basic it’s like a rhythm section so it’s like all the way straight down there like a motorway there’s a cool feature at the end though actually two so this this uh feature right here they were basically building this whole trail and this thing broke down so they just left it here and jump off it then you land into the last features like a hip so you go left or right kind of like a snowboard hit and then you high five and yeah you’ve just conquered vantalin all right watch this how you’ll be oh [Music] we made it got to the end yeah ankles are intact not much casing going on i think i said this in the last video that i’m just amazed at these places that are just open public come and pay your
