First time I’ve ever tried to service a fork. Damper cartridge came out in 2 pieces + this little black plastic tab. It’s a 2021 Yari, around 350 hours. In the videos I saw the damper slides out pretty easily with a firm pulling motion. This one kept getting sucked back in and I really had to yank on it. That’s when it separated. Is this black tab supposed to be attached somewhere? Was maybe the compression knob not doing anything, so it wasn’t full open when i tried to remove?
