[Music] [Applause] I don’t want to stay here. No. Ain’t going to keep it low now. If you want to go, let’s go. Let’s wrap it up and hit the road. I just got an awesome vibe. Striking the winter post now. Liberty’s on my mind. We’ve taken off with the ground. You You got to understand that we get one chance. One chance. You You will never regret the things that we’ll do. Cuz I want to drive through the summer. Good afternoon. Where are we? We’re in Skaggy. Yeah. So, just enjoying the last bit of the summer sunshine at the end of September. It was really, really hot earlier. Yeah, I even had to buy some sunglasses. Going to have mine in the van. But yeah, it’s got a bit cloudy now. So, just having a wander. Um, we’re on a lovely site. So, we’ll show you that later when we get back. Yeah, cracking sight. £24 a night, but yeah, we’ll show you that. We’re just going to have coffee and cake now. Yeah. Yeah. It’s quite nice just having a wander around. Nice and quiet here. There’s no breeze, no wind today, so it’s really nice. Yeah, tower there. Yeah, it is a clock tower. Still out there, isn’t it? Couple of the areas they’ve gone now, but these are still pretty. And the waterfall in the distance. You can see it. I’m sure you all know what it’s like at Skggy. Yeah. And if you don’t, why not? Yeah. It reminds me of Blackpool. It also reminds me of Benador. Yeah, it does a bit like Benol, is it? Yeah. Or is Benadorn just a bit like this? Maybe. Right. Let’s go and get some coffee and cake. Don’t know why we want coffee and cake, but just fancy it. Yeah. Actually going on the climbing frame. Right up there. You sure? Bit high for me. Oh, give that a miss. Okay. So, we have to go. I’ve got to wait. Got to press the button. So, you got fish and chips. Fish and chips. More fish and chips. Seagulls. Lots of teddies. Lots of typical beach tat. Is that what they call? There’s lots of bars and stuff and lots of fish and chip shops. More than you can ever imagine. But where we’re going is a bit down the high street. Apparently, it’s the best coffee and cake in Skes. So, we’ll go. Wait a minute. There’s a car coming. before I get run over. Lots of your normal seaside shops, I suppose. But there’s a bank here or two. I saw I saw another one earlier. Yeah, a lot of the banks are shut down, aren’t they? In most towns down our So hopefully it’s still open. It looks like shut up. Well, the cake shop where we are now in the farmhouse bakery in Skgnesses High Street and we got some cake. So, look, what have you got? Um, crunchy cheesecake. Crunchy cheesecake. And I’ve got a Battenburg cookie pie. That looks nice. This looks nice. So, we’ll let you know what it’s like, you think? Yeah. And we seem to have outside music, but it’s coming from across the road from a B speakers. Yeah, it’s quite loud. So, probably get copyright then. It’s quite loud. Yeah. Right. Let’s eat it and try it. Oh, here we go. [Applause] Feel nice. Yeah. Very good. Well, what’s going on this evening? proof that we do don’t just go out to eat. Haley’s cooking cooking a stir fry tonight. Yeah, chicken stir fry which should be lovely. So, we will show you that when it’s done. But yeah, look at this view. This is great. I don’t know if you can see over there. Over in the distance, I don’t you probably won’t see it, but is the North Coastline, which we may well head to in a few days. That is the restaurant that we had our lunch, which was good. So, you literally just walk out the gate and go along there. There’s the view of the sea straight in front of us. So, yeah, good campsite all for £24 a night, which is a bargain. It’s a camping motor home affiliated site, whatever that means. But it’s lovely. Yeah. And the showers are really, really good. Yeah. Really clean. Really, really nice facilities. Yeah. We’ll take you around tomorrow and show you all the facilities cuz it is nice. You got proper motor home drive over motor home waste or motor home service point and it’s open all year round. I don’t know if you said that. No, I didn’t say that earlier on when I went and booked an extra night. They they told me it’s open all year round which is quite good. So that’s good to know. And you’re in between Skgness and in Gold Mills. Is that how you I don’t know how you say it but we got a bus at the end of the road which was £4 each return down into. And I think tomorrow we’ll probably go the other way but tomorrow but you can go on the prominard on your bikes or walk bikes tomorrow I think. So bikes tomorrow it’s going to be sunny again tomorrow. So yeah right I will show you the stir fry when it’s cooked which hopefully will be any minute now. So stir fry is ready. Bubbling away there. So it looks quite yummy. So we give that a try tonight. [Applause] We often get asked about power banks and power stations. And as you know, we’ve been a firm believer in the All Powers brand. We’ve we’ve had the larger ones, the 2,500 W and the 1500 W items, which are great for running air fryers, kettles, charge your computers, do anything you want. You can even plug in your motor home. But sometimes you just need a smaller one. When you’re sitting outside your motor home, you want to charge your phone up, charge your laptop up in the front of your cab when you’re driving because you don’t have enough USB sockets. It’s handy. Or if you want to use low powered items like a low power kettle, hair dryers and stuff. Obviously, all the travel items can run off smaller power banks. So, we were pleased when All Powers contacted us and asked us to review their S700 power bank. This is a smaller item. This is a smaller item with a 700 watt output and a surge of 1400 W. It has DC outlets. It has car outlets. It has USBA and USBC. So, it’s quite handy. I’ll just show it to you now. Here it is. Very well presented like all all powers items. Just switch the screen back on for you. You can see the screen. It shows your output or if you were connecting it to a solar panel, your input. This is how much batter is left in percentage. And this is how long an item would run for. You have a switch for your AC for these two up here. The fans start up and then that’s it. They go off just to check they’re working, the cooling fans. And you have a DC output there. You also have lights which two different brightnesses and also an SOS function and also have another one here which has the same functions. Always handy if you’re out in the car and you break down or if you’re out hiking. It’s such a lightweight item at 5.4 kilos. It’s well easy to pick up, chuck it in your rucks sack. It comes with this charger for 240 volt. And we also got sent a solar panel with it, which will be really useful. It’s 100 W solar panel. Obviously being in the UK and haven’t had a chance to try it with a solar panel, but we have used the all power solar panels before and they’ve been pretty good. I’ll put a picture up now of it so you can see it. As I said, it has two 240 volt outputs. And then on the side here, it has three USBA points and a high powered USBC point, which is rated at 100 W. So, good for fast charging your phones. Just literally get your USBC cable in it. And I’ll just show you with my phone. Plug it in. So my phone is charging and then it will show you what the output is. Suppose as my as my phone is pretty much charged. This is your output. It’s increasing now. This is how many hours you got left by charging. So 24 hours. So that’s a pretty good Yeah, it last for ages. Obviously not good for higher power items, air fryers, microwaves and that. But we use it main well mainly we use it quite often in the front of the cab. We plug it plug our cigarette lighter charger into it and then it gives us the four out USB outputs to charge phones, cameras and anything else we need to charge. So yeah, no it’s pretty good. Definitely definitely highly recommended. So this power bank runs a lithium ion battery. It is a 604W hours battery. So charging small things it will last for a long time. Ideal if you want to go camping. Like I say, lightweight 5 kilos. Chuck it in your rucks sack, chuck it in a bag, just carry it, go hiking and stuff, it’s always handy to have a bit of power, go down the beach. So yeah, it’s a it’s a versatile item. And unlike the big ones, it does have a lot more uses for your general users who don’t need to power microwaves, motor homes, air fryers on everyday use. It’s very well made. See this handle? Got very sturdy handle there. I say pick it up. You’ve got all the buttons here. This one also shows it’s got Bluetooth. So, it has an app which you can switch on and off. I’ll just show you. You go to your all powers app there. And there you have it. shows you how much battery you got power, how much battery you got left, any inputs and outputs. You can switch on your 240 volt. [Music] You can switch on and off your USBs and your DC. You can also switch the lights on all from the power of your phone. So, it’s quite handy. As I said, it came with a solar panel which is just there. the folded the usual all powers folding solar panels. Has these solar connectors on it and these handy velcro legs so you can set it up at the right angle and it comes with charging leads. Plug into your solar panel. Plug it in here. So yeah, on this end you have inputs. You have a a 12vt round circuit input and you also have the I don’t have any nails on this side. The 12vt cigarette lighter type input which is what we use while we’re driving. There you have it. a great little addition to our motor home and we will be keeping this and using it all the time. You can also put it in the front carrier on your bikes. 5 kilos doesn’t weigh anything really. So yeah, it’s it’s a very good very good item. Um obviously there’s the usual discount code and we’ll put some links in the description as to where you can buy it from. It is a very good price. So, well worth looking at. And I’d like to thank All Powers for sending it to us and their continued support of our channel. So, right back to the video. Well, good morning in the sunshine in sunny Skgness. So, yeah, we’re just van club bag. Getting a trip out. Yeah, look. Van club bag. Going on a lovely bike ride. It’s worth joining the van van club just for the bag. No, brilliant. And beautiful seafront. We’re just going to go for a bike ride. Yeah, we’re going to get out of here. Head to Wards. I can’t remember. Ingard Mills. Is that how you say? I don’t know how you say it cuz it’s like the weirdest. And then Chapel something. Chapel St. Leonard. Maybe Chapel St. Leonard. You can get all the way along there on a bike route. So you have a trusted bikes route. The come along with us. And the faf freeze. So yeah, let’s go. Oh, I’ve got to put my bag on. So back door for the campsite onto this stunning beach and the sun’s out that way to Skes this way to [Music] Catch Haley up here. [Music] How you doing? All right. My hair is blowing my face. Most caravans on this site now. Yeah. Lovely. And then we get to the end of the site and you got the first pub. Hear the music. God the lookout. [Music] Full breakfast. [Music] Massive place. John Smith. 3 pound50 fish and chip shop. [Music] Little stage there in the beach kind of a bar. [Music] [Music] Hi. Well, we’ve made it to Chapel St. Leonard. Is that what we’ve called? Yeah, we’ve we’ve rode the bikes to Chapel St. Leonard. It was about um it’s about 5 miles. Yeah, 5 miles, I think. Four or five miles on the front. Yeah. come all the way along the front apart from one little bit that gets a bit sandy so you can there’s a cut off and you go along a road and then come back up again or a track but yeah we just stopped to have some food just having a a little brunch breakfast we’ve got two two little two breakfasts one small one regular coffee and a Coke for £12 which sounds like a bargain to me in this beautiful sun look this is where we are overlooking the North Sea So yeah. Yeah. We’ll let you know what it’s like. Yeah. It’s good that you can cycle everywhere, isn’t it? Yeah. I like it that you can cycle and it’s all flat, so it’s good for me. Yeah. So, we’ll see what the breakfast’s like and we’ll let you know. Well, I’ve got Haley’s extra egg, but I think that’s all right for six quid or whatever it was. Not my extra egg. Well, I’ve got Haley’s egg as an extra. That’s what I mean. I can’t eat eggs. I like them, but they don’t like I can’t eat. And there’s Haley’s without the egg, but she’s going to have some of my bacon. I’m sure I’ll be all right. Yeah. A little bit of brown sauce, please. Just thought I’d wander down from the calf to to the little town. It’s amusement arcades. Another ice cream coffee bar. Typical seasidey town. It’s quite a small place. probably gets really busy in the in the summer here. Have a quick look. Gift shop butchers. Yeah, just a typical seasidey town with Turkish barbers. Yeah, this is Chapel St. Leonard. I don’t know what that’s about, but no doubt I will find out. Yeah, not a lot here, but obviously just like your typical say your typical seasidey town. Let’s cross the road before we get run over, go back up to Haley and get back on the bikes. your menu at the calf. So then further along there you got an observatory apparently north observatory. But yeah, it’s beautiful. Big sandy beaches. One thing we don’t have in Sussex other than camps is big sandy beaches. But nice for last day of September. Sun’s out. Comes Haley. You ready for your little ride home? Yeah. What did you find down there? Not a lot really. Amusements. I just looked up on the internet. Yeah. You know, we were saying about we those flood gates. Oh, yeah. We didn’t think it would flood here. Apparently Chapel St. Lenners does flood. Go. What? From the sea. Yeah. Cool. Well, I presume from the sea. I didn’t read it. Just said that it does flood, which is why those flood gates are here. So, can you imagine if all this It’s quite a long way for the sea to come to get to there. I might I read it wrong, but it did say it does flood. So, yeah. Right back on the old bicles. See what we can find. [Music] It’s a little pier area here. Right onto the beach [Music] with lots of tasty treats. Cracks, donuts, waffles. [Music] over that side. You got a fish and chips coffee shop. River’s going to cry when you’re gone. Where will you go? Once you know little small area [Music] passing by. So here we are at Engle Mills which we never never been to. Everything’s quite shut up at the minute. It’s the end of September. Well that stands out. Little place is shut. Fishing ships are open. Beachy shop. Been in the summer. There’s a lot of like market type shops down here. But yeah, most things are shut now. But I’m sure in the summer this is heaving down here. car park and then caravan site down that way and lots more amusement. So yeah, not much down there. There is a market and stuff down there somewhere, but I think we’ll probably just carry on on our bike ride. Normal gift shop, clothing shop. Swords and guns. What is it with around here? We noticed in this Gness as well, there’s a lot of shops selling I take it there. Like BB guns, air guns, and swords, ornamental swords, but obviously still not very good, is it? Well, back to the bikes, I suppose, and carry on back down to the campsite and then do a bit of work this afternoon, bit of editing, and decide where we’re going to move on to tomorrow. We’re leaving the campsite tonight or tomorrow, should I say, and moving on somewhere else. Not 100% sure where yet. Got a few places, so we shall see. All right, just going down for a shower. So, I’ll show you facilities. Um, this is obviously the top section. Sea view. There’s no extra charge for these pitches. Um, £24 a night at the minute with electric facilities. There’s water for there. Big bins down there. Children’s play area. Obviously, this time of year there’s no children. There is Wi-Fi here as well. And then you come down here. Over there you can see some of the hard standing. There’s lots of this whole area hard standing over there. Then you got the main static part. Very well kept. Very nicely kept. Yeah. This is the main main area for parking. Over there you got a laundry room in here and a hairdressers. Just show you the laundry room quickly. In here you got two washers, two dryers and a hand washing sink. Um £550 a wash, £3 for a dry. We do used them last night. They’re really good. So yeah, they’re okay. They’re worth doing, worth using if you’re here. And we walk along here and you’ve got a motor home service bay there. Drive over. Great. You come down. More pictures here. He’s washing his car down there. Didn’t think he could do that. And there you got the the reception. All lovely flowers. Come along here. They sell gas here. That’s good to know. And then you come along here. I’ll quickly show you here. You got drinking water, waste water disposal there. If you don’t use a drive over, great. Toilet emptying. um washing sink there. Then you got a couple of family bathrooms there. Morning. And then when you get here, you get you pay £10 for a key, which is a deposit. So then everything’s locked. So obviously people come straight in off the beach. Hopefully no one’s in here. Turn the key. lock it to go into the shower. [Music] So, yeah, we think it’s a a great site. It’s open year round as well. I’m know there’s lots of deals in the winter so because of where you are. It’s a good place. Yeah. Just down the road to Skes. I think it was £4 return each on a bus at the end of the road. Yeah. Good. Good place. Not sure where we’re off to now. Just packing everything up and then making a move to somewhere different. We will see you there. So, I just like to thank you for watching this video and if you liked it, please give us a thumbs up and please check your subscribes cuz lots of people saying they haven’t been subscribed and we will be back next week with some news of our exciting adventure soon to happen. So, thanks for watching and we’ll see you on the next one. Hold on tight. I can smell the shore. It’s right in front of us. If we just hold on tight. This vision that I saw is getting closer every dawn. Ooh, we are dreamers of the Sure. [Music]
