Approximately 40 km circular route around Preston mainly on traffic free asphalted ways. Includes one off-road section descending into Brockhole Nature Reserve, that might be tricky on road bikes, especially when muddy. Overall suitable for all bikes.

Do you actually know why it’s called the guild wheel? Well, a Preston guild is an event that happens every 20 or 25 years. It’s one of those sayings in English or once every Preston guild which means a long time. So I imagine it’s part of probably a millennium thing that created it. Look how green that canal is. Martin just had to go walking over it. You can see the leaves just sticking on it. Preston Commtorium say yes. This is uh where you end up if you don’t make it round on this route. This is interesting on the Brona. 20%. Yeah. There you are. It’s quite impressive, isn’t it? Who knew Preston was so nice?
