Massy-Palaiseau – Line 18
The teams from Industrie et Equipements Publics will carry out the interior fit-out and architectural works for the TCE layout of Massy-Palaiseau station. This multimodal hub, located at the heart of a major existing transport interchange, will be connected to the RER C, T12 Express, RER B, Massy TGV station, and the two bus stations Vilmorin and Atlantis.
Its ideal location at the intersection of several connections positions it at the center of a railway corridor and in direct proximity to existing structures (footbridges, buildings, etc.), which presents real challenges for the construction work.
From a technical perspective, the teams will have to deal with restricted and complex access, with the mandatory submission of a railway safety notice to the SNCF in advance. Architecturally, the building consists of a white concrete base that supports a metal framework connecting two existing footbridges.
